Inside Scoop: RHONY Star Tinsley Mortimer Reveals Spectacular Wedding Date with Fiancé Robert Bovard!

Tinsley Mortimer's engagement news is more exciting than expected as she is set to walk down the aisle sooner than anticipated. The 48-year-old former star of The Real Housewives of New York City will officially tie the knot with Robert Bovard on November 11 in Palm Beach, Florida. Mortimer initially disclosed her relationship with Bovard through Instagram Stories on Friday, October 13, and various media sources have since confirmed his identity.

"Pre-wedding family getaway!" she wrote alongside a picture of herself with Bovard and his three children last week. In another Instagram Story photo, she showed off what appeared to be an engagement ring as she took a mirror selfie in a bikini.

Bovard had been married to Mary Dial Bovard for almost 12 years until her passing from a brain tumor in June 2021. Together, they had three children - a son and twin daughters.

Mortimer was previously in a relationship with Scott Kluth, whom she dated on and off from 2017 to 2021. Kluth announced their breakup in March 2021, stating that they had been living separately for a few months. It was a difficult decision for both of them, but Kluth believes it is for the best. He expressed his care for Mortimer and wished her happiness and success in the future.

According to an insider, Mortimer was completely taken by surprise by the breakup. They shared that Mortimer feels like she wasted four years of her life on Scott, as he ended their engagement during a photo shoot.

According to another source, the breakup had been anticipated for a while. The insider claimed that Tinsley was not blindsided as she had been aware of the end of their relationship months ago. It is possible that the realization hit her last week, but Scott did not blindside her. They have not seen each other since January and did not spend Valentine's Day together. Since January, Scott has been living alone.

Tinsley, who was previously married to Topper Mortimer from 2002 to 2010, had previously shared her preference for the designer of her ideal wedding dress. In September 2020, she revealed her love for Monique Lhuillier dresses due to their femininity. Tinsley even indicated that she believed Monique Lhuillier would be her choice for her wedding and that the designer would create a dress specifically for her.

The Virginia native emphasizes that she feels happiest when she is completely glammed up with hair, makeup, and a stunning dress. She explains that it is considered good manners in the South to present oneself well-groomed and dressed nicely. The importance of this is exemplified by her own mother, who always left the house looking impeccable, whether it was for a tennis game, a club lunch, or a meeting with a design client.
