Huge News: Fortnite V-Bucks Prices Soaring High in Exclusive Regions!

Fortnite V-Bucks prices surge in select regions, increasing the cost of in-game cosmetics for players

Fortnite recently adjusted the prices of V-Bucks in select countries. The cost has increased in Canada and the United Kingdom, while it has decreased in Mexico. V-Bucks are used to buy exclusive Fortnite items such as skins, cosmetics, tools, and the Battle Pass. As a result, players who enjoy customizing their characters will be impacted by these price changes.

A few weeks back, Fortnite introduced Chapter 4 Season 3, which was a departure from the previous cyberpunk-inspired Mega City setting, instead opting for a lush jungle environment. This new season brought a stark contrast and allowed players to explore a diverse biome with a jungle area and pre-historic-inspired visuals. As is customary, the new season also introduced new characters, skins, and weapons, making it crucial for players to have an ample supply of V-Bucks to enjoy most of the new content.

The new V-Bucks prices for the UK, Canada, and Mexico have been revealed on the official Fortnite website, effective from July 17th. Notably, prices will increase in the UK and Canada, while experiencing a slight decrease in Mexico. This change will apply to all V-Bucks packages in these respective countries. Currently, 1,000 V-Bucks in the UK costs £6.49, which will be raised to £6.99. In Canada, the price will shift from $10.79 to $11.99 (Canadian Dollars). Interestingly, players in Mexico will actually see a decrease in the price of the virtual currency, as it will be reduced from $165 (Mexican Pesos) to $159.

In addition to the recent update that impacts the game's economics, Fortnite players will no longer receive V-Bucks through daily logins after the 25.10 update. Instead, they will need to complete Daily Quests and Mission Alerts to earn these rewards. As a result, players can anticipate having fewer V-Bucks available, unless they reside in Mexico.

Despite these changes, there is some positive news for non-Mexican Fortnite fans. Leaker Shiina recently disclosed that Fortnite may soon collaborate with The Elder Scrolls Online. According to Shiina, a character inspired by Bethesda's Skyrim game will be introduced to Fortnite. Although this information has not been officially confirmed, Shiina is known for their accurate leaks in relation to Fortnite, so there is a good chance that this may be true. Therefore, Fortnite players should consider saving their V-Bucks if they wish to partake in the crossover.

Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
