Taylor Swift may very well be the Kansas City Chiefs' fortunate charm, and Coach Andy Reid is utterly pleased with it. "She is more than welcome to stick around as much as she desires," exclaimed the 65-year-old NFL coach following the Chiefs' triumphant 31-17 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 22. Additionally, Reid mentioned in a social media video that tight end Travis Kelce is continuously improving with each passing day.
Swift, 33, enthusiastically supported Kelce, 34, at Sunday's match held at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri. She sported an oversized Chiefs sweatshirt paired with a friendship bracelet embellished with the number 87, which corresponds to Kelce's jersey number. Apart from her newfound friendship with Brittany Matthews, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Swift also stirred up attention as Kelce achieved a record-breaking performance with her presence in the stands.
CBS reported during the broadcast that Kelce's average yards per game increased to 99 when Swift is present, whereas when he is on his own, the average drops to 46.5 yards. The reference to Swift's song "Anti-Hero" from 2022 was made in regards to this difference.
Kelce showed interest in Swift back in July when he attended her Eras Tour concert in Missouri. On his "New Heights" podcast, Kelce mentioned his desire to give Swift his number on a friendship bracelet, but unfortunately, they were unable to meet that night.

Swift has attended four Chiefs games to date, solidifying her presence as a fixture at these events. Her initial appearance at Arrowhead Stadium coincided with the Chiefs' impressive victory over the Chicago Bears, with a final score of 41-10 in September. Additionally, she was in attendance during the Chiefs' triumph over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, which resulted in a close 23-20 win. Another notable game she attended was the Chiefs' dominant victory over the Denver Broncos at home, with a final score of 19-8 earlier this month. Prior to the recent game, Coach Reid shared an anecdote about his longstanding connection with Swift that predates her and Kelce's rapid romance.
"I was acquainted with her back in Philadelphia. Her father was a devoted fan of the NFL," he revealed on Donovan McNabb's "The Five Spot" podcast on October 17. "I had the pleasure of meeting her when she was quite young, as well as her father."
Swift hails from Pennsylvania, while Reid famously served as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 to 2012.
“I made a playful comment about arranging a surprise for Kelce, but let me clarify,” Reid mentioned, emphasizing his satisfaction with her presence at the games. “She's a terrific individual, enthusiastic about supporting us. We are overjoyed to have her here.”
According to an exclusive source, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's friends believe that they are currently in love.
"They are extremely happy, although they have not explicitly declared their love for each other. However, it is evident to her friends that they are progressing towards that level of commitment," disclosed the insider.
Furthermore, the couple is already mapping out their future together as Swift prepares to resume her Eras Tour next month, including her international performances.
He plans to visit her while she is on tour and they have already made arrangements for it. Additionally, when she has some free time, she will make sure to spend it with him," the insider stated. "Their relationship is going smoothly because it is effortless and uncomplicated."
In general, the source mentioned that Swift is thrilled and filled with happiness regarding her new partner.
