Lisa Rinna shared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Friday, March 22, that she has gained valuable lessons from her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She expressed gratitude for the experience and mentioned that it has positively impacted her acting career. At 60 years old, Rinna feels that being on the Bravo reality show has contributed to her growth as an actor.

Rinna shared that her time as a Housewife was beneficial for her latest project. She mentioned, "Working with those women, going through that experience... I just did a movie called Mommy Meanest, which I trained for for eight years on that show." Rinna felt that she had a lot to draw from after working on the show for so long, gaining insights into the different psychologies of women that she wouldn't have encountered otherwise.

Despite her gratitude for the experience, Rinna informed host Jennifer Hudson that she was not considering a return to RHOBH for another season.

"I'm the person I am today because of it, but I'll never go back," she said. "Nope, I did it. Did it, done it, saw the movie."

The Rinna Beauty founder first appeared on the Bravo franchise in 2014 as a main cast member, and stayed on RHOBH for eight seasons. However, after encountering difficulties both on and off screen during the 2022 season, Rinna decided to take a step back.

"This is the longest job I've had in my 35-year career. I want to thank everyone at Bravo and all those who worked on the series," she said in a statement to Us in January 2023. "It's been a great 8-year journey, and I'm looking forward to what the future holds!"

While reflecting on her reality TV experience on Friday, Rinna acknowledged that she’s “made mistakes” and has “regrets” about how she behaved in the past.

"I wouldn't change anything because I am who I am because of what I've been through. Good, bad, ugly," she said. "I will apologize for it, or I will self-reflect and know [it was wrong]."

It appears that taking a break from the Bravo spotlight was exactly what Rinna needed. In March 2023, she shared exclusively with We that she was in "absolute heaven" after departing from the franchise.

Rinna told Us that she has been able to travel to Paris and London, attend fashion shows, and is truly enjoying the time of her life. She expressed that she is having a lot of fun and sees this period as a time for relaxation and enjoyment.

After leaving RHOBH, Rinna has been relishing spending quality time with her daughters. Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin have two daughters, Delilah Belle (25) and Amelia Gray (22).

Motherhood doesn't feel very challenging at the moment, and I'm hesitant to even mention it for fear of jinxing it. Both of my girls are in town right now, which is really enjoyable," she excitedly shared with Us. "Amelia has been here for about a week. My main challenge is keeping up with both of them, their lives, and their careers. It's been a bit of a challenge because they're doing so well and are constantly on the move. But overall, it's been really fun."
