Alan Bersten, a pro on Dancing With the Stars, has always been in good shape. Recently, he has taken his fitness to the next level.

Bersten, 29, shared with We at the Race to Erase MS Gala on May 10 that he started the carnivore diet five weeks ago. He emphasized that he is not promoting it to anyone but decided to try it out for himself. The results have been life-changing for him.

Ever since starting his regime on TikTok, Bersten has seen some changes in his body. He mentioned feeling more energetic and happy. Additionally, he was surprised by the amount of weight he lost. In just five weeks, he shed around 20 pounds.

Bersten mentioned that he is feeling "incredible" and has started waking up early. He jokingly said, "My house is clean. I don't know who this is."

In terms of his mental state, Bersten expressed that he is in a much better place. He reflected, "Whether it's from looking good or feeling good, I'm truly grateful. Mental health is just as crucial as physical health, and I feel fortunate."

Bersten shared that besides dancing, he has also taken up a new form of exercise. He mentioned, "I exercise daily with my personal trainer, David, focusing on weight training. But my latest obsession is Pilates, which I do religiously every day."

After wrapping up his workout sessions, Bersten heads to stock up on his favorite foods, which include plenty of eggs and steak.

Emma Slater, a fellow DWTS pro, mentioned to Us on Friday that she has observed a change in her friend's body. She commented that he appears very slim at the moment, attributing it to his strict adherence to the carnivore diet.

Earlier this month, Bersten revealed his body transformation on social media. He shared a photo of himself shirtless in blue swim trunks with a pattern, standing on a boat and gazing at the horizon. Bersten, sporting a gentle smile in the picture, captioned the Instagram post with, "I must say, I'm enjoying Miami!"
