Holly Madison continues to reveal secrets about the Playboy Mansion, stating that eating disorders were widespread among the Playboy Bunnies. According to Madison, bulimia was prevalent to the extent that hospitalizations were not uncommon. The excessive use of the bathroom pipes necessitated replacements.

Madison's initial reaction to the plumbing issue was to consider it as nothing more than a mere "rumor."

"I thought to myself, 'That seems exaggerated, there's no need to replace a bathroom pipe due to someone's stomach acid,'" she recollected, emphasizing that "someone later verified the truth of the matter."

Madison and fellow former Playboy Bunny Bridget Marquardt, who was also a guest on the podcast episode aired on Wednesday, both expressed that the negative impact of "thinness" in the Playboy Mansion was significant when it came to body image concerns. Madison has previously been open about her personal battle with body dysmorphia that stemmed from her seven-year tenure as a Playboy Bunny.

In a 2021 TikTok video, I stumbled upon a picture of myself wearing a bunny costume. This brought back memories of a time when I watched a playback of myself in a fashion show and had the startling realization that I needed to lose weight. Reflecting on this, I shared the hope that people would take a moment to consider how they perceive their own bodies and whether it hinders their progress by making them feel bad about themselves. Madison, addressing her followers, expressed that feeling bad about oneself is not worth it. While there may be aspects we all want to improve, she emphasized that it is not worth wasting time being miserable.

The former star of The Girls Next Door, who was on the show with Marquardt and Wilkinson, dated Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008. Since leaving her time as a Playboy Bunny, she has made some shocking revelations. On a recent podcast, Madison and Marquardt, 50, discussed their experiences at the Playboy Mansion, with Madison specifically recalling the first time she slept with the late Hugh Hefner, who passed away in 2017.

"I had to sleep with him before anything else," Madison informed Cooper in 2021, refuting Wilkinson's previous assertions of never having slept with Hefner prior to residing in the mansion. "I don't mean to shame anyone or anything, but acquiring an invitation to move in was contingent upon intimate encounters."

Madison expressed that her initial "three or four" years at the Mansion were exceptionally dreadful.

"Prior to just having Bridget and Kendra with me, there used to be six other women in rotation every few years," she revealed. "It was an extremely competitive environment, with no camaraderie; everyone attempted to betray or deceive one another to manipulate Hef and have someone ousted."
