Hoda Kotb celebrated Easter with her daughters by teaching them a valuable life lesson. In a video shared on Instagram, Kotb's daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 4, excitedly searched for Easter eggs around their apartment. When they reached a corner of the room, Kotb, 59, praised them with a simple, "Good thought."
Haley was on a mission to find the hidden eggs, crouching under the couch. The Today host cheered her on, asking if she had found any. With a proud smile, Haley revealed she had not just one, but four eggs.
Excited by the discovery, the host suggested sharing the eggs with her younger sister, Hope. Haley happily split the eggs with Hope, making sure they both had a fair share. "Nice!" exclaimed the host, pleased with their teamwork.

Kotb, who has daughters with her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman, mentioned that they are getting ready for a move.
During a recent episode of her podcast "Making Space" on Wednesday, March 27, Kotb shared, "I was thinking about moving. My kids are going to move somewhere to a new school."
During a conversation with her podcast guest, author Arthur Brooks, Kotb mentioned that she had experienced moving multiple times in her life. She reminisced about one particular move to Nigeria when she was in fourth grade. Kotb recalled feeling scared and out of place in a new country with a different language and unfamiliar faces. Despite the challenges, she also mentioned moving again in sixth grade.
Kotb shared, “As an adult, I find myself sharing stories about how I persevered and coped with challenges. But now, as I guide my kids, I also feel the need to shield them from certain experiences that they may need to face.”
On the Thursday, March 28 episode of Today With Hoda and Jenna, Kotb further explained her upcoming move, emphasizing that she and her daughters will not be leaving the "New York area."
"It's fascinating to think about how many times we've moved in our lives," she mentioned. "Every time I moved and you moved, it felt like a big change. But the stories I share about my growth come from those experiences."
