Gerry Turner impressed everyone during the hometown visits, particularly when he spent time at Faith Martin's residence.
"I find solace in Faith's presence," Gerry expressed to Faith's sister, Beth, in the latest episode of The Golden Bachelor on Thursday, November 2. "It seems like we share a common desire."
During their conversation, both Gerry and Faith's sister became emotional. Beth expressed her surprise at how open and committed Faith is to Gerry, but also confessed that she is fiercely protective of her sister's heart.
"I appreciate the fact that you have made her feel secure," Beth conveyed. "And I genuinely hope that you will understand the gravity of this responsibility. Faith is entrusting you with her heart, and that is an incredibly rare gift. I genuinely want her to find happiness."
Upon Gerry and Beth's reunion with the group, Gerry openly declared his love for Faith, marking her as the first recipient of his heartfelt "I love you." The leading individual had previously confessed to We that experiencing love within the show's context surpassed his initial expectations.
"In hindsight, I came to the realization that in that specific moment, whenever it occurred - the circumstances were such that it was effortless to express love towards someone. However, once you go through it all and reflect, you come to understand that there is truly only one person who consistently meets the standards in every situation as desired," Gerry explained last month.
The episode concluded with a suspenseful ending, leaving fans eagerly anticipating next week to discover Gerry's final two choices. The last rose of the night could potentially be given to Faith or Theresa Nist. (Leslie Fhima was shown receiving a rose.)
