Pam Van Sant commemorated the memory of Treat Williams on the occasion of their 35th wedding anniversary. "Happy anniversary honey! 35 years," wrote the 68-year-old producer as she shared a picture from their wedding day in 1988 on Williams' Instagram Story on Sunday, June 25.
Van Sant shared pictures of her and the beloved Everwood actor commemorating the festive season and their initial year of marital bliss, describing their delightful experience in Bali. Tragically, their anniversary occurred a mere fortnight following Williams' untimely passing at the age of 71 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

In a tragic incident this afternoon, the actor lost his life when his path was abruptly interrupted by another vehicle, as revealed by his spokesperson, Barry McPherson, in a statement issued on June 12. The news has left me utterly devastated. Not only was he an incredibly talented individual, but he was also known for his kind and gentle nature."
McPherson stated that the late actor was highly respected in the industry and adored by filmmakers. He had been a prominent figure in Hollywood since the late 1970s and took great pride in his recent performance. McPherson also mentioned that the actor had a successful and varied career. The actor is survived by his two children, Gill Williams, aged 31, and Elinor "Ellie" Williams, aged 25, who he had with Van Sant.
“This is an indescribable agony, a pain like no other. I am completely devastated,” expressed Ellie in a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram Story, a few hours after the news of Treat’s passing had made headlines. Alongside her emotional words, Ellie posted a cherished throwback photo of her beloved father. “I am so grateful to all those who have reached out with their messages of support and kept our family close to their hearts during this unimaginable heartbreak.”

Treat's private memorial service took place on Monday, June 19, in Vermont, his cherished home. Vermont had always held a special place in his heart and had become his beloved retreat over the years.
Since his childhood, Treat had been drawn to the Green Mountain State and would often vacation there with his family. It was during the early days of his marriage to Van Sant that he made the decision to purchase a home in Vermont, solidifying his deep connection to the state.
"I purchased our current home 35 years ago, and my affection for Vermont has only grown stronger over time, whether it's during the winter or summer seasons," Treat enthusiastically expressed in a 2021 interview with Vermont magazine. "There is an indescribable charm that resonates with me, and the people here are genuinely honest, authentic, and good-natured. Moreover, there is always a sense of anticipation when exploring new paths along the countryside."
The actor further shared, "I consider myself incredibly fortunate to genuinely love the place where I reside. I have no desire to be anywhere else. Vermont provides me with everything I desire and require. Having traveled extensively around the globe, I can confidently say that Vermont surpasses them all in terms of breathtaking beauty."
