The official website for the television anime series Goblin Slayer II released a new promotional video on Friday, September 22, 2023. The video showcases the opening theme song of the series and includes clips of the main characters, along with the announcement of their respective voice actors. Additionally, the video introduces new characters that were not previously seen in the first season of the anime, which aired in the Fall of 2018. This upcoming anime will continue the adaptation of the original light novel series by author Kumo Kagyu and illustrator Noboru Kannatasuki.

Goblin Slayer II has generated significant anticipation as one of this year's most highly anticipated releases, despite the recent controversy surrounding the series. Regardless, it is evident that anime enthusiasts in general are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the protagonist adventurer and his party's quest.

Goblin Slayer II set to premiere in Japan on Friday, October 6 and stream internationally as it airs

The recently released promotional video for Goblin Slayer II anime series unveiled and showcased the opening theme song. As per the video, the opening theme song titled "Entertainment" performed by Mili will kickstart the series. In addition, it was previously announced that Yuki Nakashima will be performing the ending theme song for the show, titled "Kasumi no Muko e," which translates to "To the Other Side of the Mist."

The series is scheduled to debut in Japan on Friday, October 6, 2023, airing on the Tokyo MX, AT-X, and BS11 networks. Sun TV will broadcast the series at a later time. ABEMA, a streaming platform, will offer the series a few hours before it premieres on Japanese television. Crunchyroll has already announced plans to stream the series internationally as it airs in Japan.

Misato Takda will direct the series at LIDEN FILMS instead of WHITE FOX, the studio behind the first season. Takaharu Ozaki, the director of the first season, will serve as the chief director for the series. Hideyuki Kurata will return as the series composer, while Hiromi Kaot will be responsible for character design. Kenichiro Suehiro will compose the music for the series once again.

Cast members reprising their roles for the upcoming season of Goblin Slayer include Yuiichiro Umehara as Goblin Slayer, Yui Ogura as Priestess, Nao Toyama as High Elf Archer, Yuki Iguchi as Cow Girl, Maaya Uchida as Guild Girl, Yuichi Nakamura as Dwarf Shaman, Tomokazu Sugita as Lizard Priest, Yoko Hikasa as Witch, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Spearman.

The series' first season made its debut in Japan in October 2018 and was simultaneously streamed by Crunchyroll with English subtitles. Funimation also provided an English dub for the series. Recently, Crunchyroll announced their plans to also produce an English dub for the upcoming second season.
