Additionally, the movie covers chapters 41 to 54 of the manga, while the first season of the series spans chapters 1 to 29. As a result, the upcoming second season will encompass chapters 30 to 40 and continue from chapter 55 onwards, meaning that viewers should watch the movie before delving into the second season to fully understand the Goblin Slayer story.

The first season of Goblin Slayer concluded with a surprise invasion by goblins. The adventurers in town were forced to unite and eliminate the bloodthirsty creatures, while Goblin Slayer and the priest girl fought against the menacing Goblin Lord. Meanwhile, in the movie, the Goblin Slayer party successfully infiltrated the goblins' lair hidden deep within a snowy mountain range. They efficiently massacred every goblin present and employed a brilliant strategy to defeat the ferocious Goblin Paladin.

In season 2, our main character will have a special day with the attractive women in the series, but goblins will still find a way to be a part of these heartwarming moments. Additionally, the Goblin Slayer party will confront swarms of goblins led by dark elves, trolls, goblin shamans, and other malicious commanders. New Characters, Same Staff

In the second season, the majority of characters from the first season, including all members of the Goblin Slayer party, the farm girl, the beautiful receptionist at the Adventurer's Guild, and fellow adventurers residing in the same town, will make an appearance.

Apart from these familiar faces, season 2 introduces several new characters. Most of them are inexperienced adventurers seeking fame and glory, lacking power and experience. Some notable examples include the arrogant and self-assured Wizard Boy, the laid-back Rhea Girl, the overly optimistic Rookie Warrior, and the compassionate Apprentice Cleric.

The first season and the movie of Goblin Slayer were both worked on by the same staff, including director Takaharu Ozaki, script and series composition by Hideyuki Kurata, and music by Kenichiro Suehiro, among others. They have a deep understanding of what makes the anime adaptation of this series successful, which is why they are also responsible for the second season. Additionally, there are new voice actors for the new characters and new theme songs for season 2: "Entertainment" by Mili for the opening and "Kasumi no Mukō e" by Yuki Nakashima for the ending.
