The Ghostbusters franchise is set to introduce a new version of its iconic logo in the upcoming sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2. The film, previously referred to as Firehouse during development, is scheduled for release in December 2023 and will feature returning stars Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd as the new generation of Ghostbusters. Additionally, the film will see the return of original cast members Ernie Hudson and William Atherton. The official Ghostbusters Twitter account recently unveiled a poster featuring a frozen version of the classic logo, sparking speculation about the film's official title.

Does The New Ghostbusters Logo Suggest A Return To Ghostbusters: Hellbent?

The release of the new Ghostbusters logo for the upcoming sequel sparked a wave of speculation about its possible implications for the movie's plot and official title. Many experts in the field ventured their guesses, with some even suggesting a connection to Dan Ackroyd's original plans for Ghostbusters III.
