The popular PlayStation game Ghost of Tsushima is officially coming to PC in May. Developed by Sucker Punch, the game was released in 2020 and received high praise for its detailed open-world action set in feudal Japan. Players took on the role of samurai warrior Jin Sakai, tasked with freeing Tsushima Island from Mongolian invaders using swordplay and stealth. In 2021, a new story expansion was added for the PS5, sending Jin to Iki Island to face off against a dangerous cult.
Sony has been gradually releasing some of its top PlayStation titles on PC, with rumors of a Ghost of Tsushima port circulating for a while. The game was mentioned in the Nvidia GeForce Now Leak in 2021, which accurately predicted other PS exclusives like God of War and Horizon Forbidden West. Recently, gaming news reporter Nick Baker mentioned the possibility of a Ghost of Tsushima PC port announcement, and now it has been confirmed.
Nixxes Software, known for porting PlayStation games to PC like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, has revealed that Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be available on PC starting May 16. A trailer showcasing Jin battling his Mongolian foes gives a sneak peek into the game, highlighting new features like adjustable frame rates, different graphics options, and customizable controls for mouse and keyboard.
