Get Ready for Jaw-Dropping PlayStation Exclusive Content in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 4!

Get ready for exclusive PlayStation content in Call of Duty's Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 4 Activision has announced exciting details about the upcoming release, promising an unforgettable gaming experience for all PS players

Activision has revealed some preliminary information about the upcoming PlayStation-exclusive content for Call of Duty. Despite the ongoing controversy, both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will receive more platform-exclusive DLC. While the offerings may not be extensive, PS4 and PS5 players can still enjoy some free content. Call of Duty's popularity owes much to its availability across multiple platforms, but PlayStation remains the most popular among them. As a result, Activision continues to release occasional exclusive content for PlayStation users, despite criticism from PC and Xbox players, as well as some PlayStation fans who disagree with the practice.

Details have been released for the upcoming PlayStation-exclusive Call of Duty content in the next season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Among them is the Season 04 Combat Pack, which will be available for free to PlayStation Plus members. The pack includes several DLCs, including an Oni Operators Skin featuring a "carbon fiber armor-enhanced wetsuit." Moreover, Sony players will enjoy a 24-hour Double Player XP event following the Season 04 launch, starting on June 22 at 10:00 AM PT and ending on June 23 at 10:00 AM PT.

The fourth season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will commence on June 14, with the Double Player XP day being pushed back by a week and landing on a Thursday. The DLC pack will also not be available immediately with the season's launch, but will instead be downloadable from June 21. Further information regarding the Season 04 Combat Pack will be released closer to its release date. Despite the announcement of new PlayStation-exclusive content, it is unlikely to cause as much controversy as previous announcements due to Activision's clear stance on continuing their partnership with Sony. However, with Microsoft's acquisition of Activision currently underway, it remains to be seen how this will affect Call of Duty fans on both PlayStation and Xbox in the future.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 are available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
