Get Ready for Epic Movement Upgrades Coming to Fortnite!

Fortnite players can rejoice as a popular mobility item from the past might make a return soon With the recent update, Chapter 4 Season 3, players are eagerly anticipating new ways to move around the map Stay tuned for updates on this exciting development

With the latest season renewal, Fortnite players have lost access to some of the most important survival gear in the game: mobility items. While Chapter 4 Season 3 introduced three new POIs and a lush jungle biome for players to explore, the island is still vast and navigating it without mobility items can be a challenge. With the absence of these items, players may find it difficult to reach the safe zone without taking storm damage, especially if they land too far away at the start of a match. However, leaks suggest that an old favorite mobility item may soon be unvaulted, providing a solution to this problem and potentially shaking up the gameplay for players.

Dataminers have uncovered a glimmer of hope for the Fortnite community with regards to the mobility issue. It appears that the game's loot pools have been updated to allow NPCs on the map to offer the highly coveted Grapple Glove. This item, which was introduced in Chapter 3 Season 3, enables players to swing from one location to another without having to touch the ground, making it an incredibly useful tool for traversing the map quickly and efficiently.

In the previous season, players had a variety of options for getting around, including vehicles, the Kinetic Blade, the ODM Gear, and the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters. The addition of the Web-Shooters, which bore a striking resemblance to Eren Jaeger's signature ODM Gear, was particularly noteworthy. However, the current season only offers a limited selection of mobility options, such as vehicles, grind rails, and zip lines, which are all tied to specific locations on the map. As a result, players are left without any portable mobility items in their inventories, with the exception of the highly sought-after Chug Splash, which enables fans to run considerable distances before its effects wear off.

With its potential return to Fortnite, the Grapple Glove has many players eager to get their hands on it once again. Being able to land further away from the center of the map without fear of the storm is a game-changer for many. Whether playing on mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S, the excitement over the Grapple Glove's possible unvaulting is palpable.
