Genshin Impact has released the revenue numbers for the first week of the double banner featuring the Anemo support character Kaedehara Kazuha and the Dendro sword character Alhaitham. These characters were introduced as part of the second banner cycle in the ongoing update 3.7, which also includes a strong lineup of four-star characters such as Yaoyao, Xiangling, and Heizou.
Typically, Genshin Impact's Limited Character Banners run for about three weeks before being replaced by a new set of characters. Players still have a few more days to obtain either of these characters before the banner expires on July 4.
Popular revenue site GenshinLab has released the sales figures for the first week of the double banner featuring Kazuha and Alhaitham in Genshin Impact. According to the data, Kazuha and Alhaitham have achieved a respectable 19th place on the first-week revenue list. This is a significant improvement compared to the first banner cycle that showcased Yoimiya and Yae Miko. However, it is important to note that the chart only represents sales from iOS devices on the Chinese server, and the overall numbers are likely much higher. Although the data does not differentiate between Kazuha's and Alhaitham's sales, it can be assumed that the majority of the banner's revenue comes from the five-star Anemo user.
Kaedehaha Kazuha is widely regarded as one of the game's strongest five-star characters, as evidenced by the success of Alhaitham's re-run sales surpassing the revenue generated during the release of update 3.4. Kazuha's abilities include crowd-controlling enemy groups, weakening their resistance, and offering a significant damage boost to his allies. Additionally, his proficiency as an Anemo user grants him great versatility, making him a valuable addition to almost any team composition in Genshin Impact.
Despite not being regarded as the most powerful DPS character in the game, Alhaitham has the potential to deal significant damage, particularly when paired with a well-coordinated team. Interestingly, Genshin Impact has witnessed unexpectedly low revenue figures in recent months, despite the success of Yelan and Hu Tao, who were prominently featured in the initial segment of update 3.4 and managed to surpass the game's overall revenue record.
Genshin Impact is currently accessible on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Switch version currently in progress.
