Genshin Impact Unveils Must-Have 4-Star Sword for Update 37

Genshin Impact fans, get ready for a new four-star sword in the upcoming update 37 The weapon is crucial to character builds, and while artifacts can be earned through domains, weapons are obtained through the Weapon Banner Stay tuned for more information on this exciting addition to the game!

Genshin Impact is set to introduce a new four-star weapon in the upcoming update 3.7, which will undoubtedly become a vital component of every character's build in the game. While artifacts can be collected by completing various domains, the primary way to acquire weapons in the game is through the Weapon Banner.

Each update in Genshin Impact presents players with the opportunity to obtain a free four-star weapon by participating in event-exclusive quests. Currently, there are five different weapon types in the game, all of which can have five levels of rarity, with five-star weapons usually being the most potent.

Similar to character constellations, Genshin Impact weapons also have different refinement levels that can be obtained by acquiring multiple copies of the same item. Recently, Genshin Impact's official social media events announced the release of a new four-star weapon called Ibis Piercer. Excitingly, its refinement materials will be available for free during one of the upcoming Duel! The Summoners' Summit! events. The Ibis Piercer is a bow type weapon with a max base attack of 565 and a secondary stat of ATK percentage. Its secondary stat max value is 27.6% and it has a rarity of four-stars. Additionally, it comes with a powerful passive effect called Secret Wisdom's Favor. This effect increases the character's Elemental Mastery by 40 within 6 seconds after a Charged Attack hit opponents. Furthermore, this effect has two stacks that can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds.

This weapon is an excellent choice for bow users who can take advantage of its Attack as a secondary stat. Its ability to enhance Charged Attacks makes it the preferred option for multiple characters. Ganyu, whose entire kit revolves around dealing damage with her enhanced Charged Attacks, is an obvious choice. Another character who can benefit from this weapon is the Hydro DPS Tartaglia, also known as Childe.

Players who have added the Dendro user Tighnari to their roster can equip him with this weapon since his kit scales with Elemental Mastery. Additionally, the Pyro user Yoimiya, who is confirmed to appear in the first part of the upcoming Genshin Impact version 3.7, can also make use of this weapon.

On the upcoming banner cycle, Yoimiya will be joining forces with two other prominent characters in Genshin Impact - Yae Miko, the Electro user, and Kirara, the new four-star Dendro user. While there were speculations about Kirara being a bow user, the recent Special Program event by HoYoverse confirmed that she primarily wields a sword.

Genshin Impact is currently available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch port currently under development.
