Moving on to the next phase, the highly anticipated Limited Character Banner will showcase a lineup consisting of Zhongli, Tartaglia, Noelle, Sayu, and Freminet. Each of these characters possesses distinct abilities and essential roles within the gameplay.
Genshin Impact has officially unveiled the complete lineup of limited characters and items set to appear in the second phase of version 4.0. This latest update introduces Fontaine, a highly anticipated Hydro nation featuring fresh characters and iconic destinations for players to discover.
Like previous updates, Genshin Impact version 4.0 presents two distinct banner cycles, each showcasing a unique selection of limited characters. The first banner cycle highlights the new five-star Pyro bow user, Lyney, along with her four-star sister, Lynette. Additionally, this banner includes the return of the sought-after Hydro character, Yelan, for the second time.
Travelers who wish to add any of these characters to their collection have a few days left to do so as their banner is set to expire on September 5. Recently, Genshin Impact's Special Program event announced the five-star characters that will be showcased in both banner cycles. An update shared on the game's social media platforms has now unveiled the four-star characters and weapons that will accompany Zhongli and Tartaglia in the phase 2 banner. According to the announcement, the upcoming Limited Character Banner will highlight the following characters:
Zhongli - a five-star Geo polearm user
Tartaglia - five-star Hydro bow user
Noelle - four-star Geo claymore user
Sayu - four-star Anemo claymore user
Freminet - four-star Cryo claymore user
In the comment section, many fans have pointed out that all four-star characters in the game's gacha banners share the same weapon type, which is unusual. Among them, the Geo user Zhongli stands out as the strongest and most useful character. This comes as no surprise, considering he is also known as the Liyue Archon Morax.
Zhongli possesses an Elemental Skill called Dominus Lapidis, which allows him to create one of the most powerful shields in the game. Both Zhongli and Tartaglia were introduced in Genshin Impact version 1.1 and played essential roles in the Liyue arc. Tartaglia, also known as Childe, is highly regarded as one of the top Hydro DPS characters due to his versatile play style, allowing him to effortlessly switch between ranged and close combat.
Freminet, a new character in the main storyline of Fontaine, will be the sole addition to this banner. Much like the highly sought-after Cryo claymore user Eula, Freminet possesses a distinctive set of skills geared towards inflicting Physical damage. Both Noelle and Sayu have established themselves as valuable Genshin Impact supports, excelling in their abilities to offer extensive healing and shielding.
