Genshin Impact Unveils Exciting Roster of Characters for 41 Update - Prepare for Epic Adventures!

Genshin Impact unveils the exciting lineup of four-star characters set to join Venti and Wriothesley in the highly anticipated Phase 2 of version 41

Highlights

Genshin Impact's version 4.1 features two banner cycles with different limited characters and weapons.

In the upcoming phase 2 banner, the roster will feature Wriothesley, a five-star character who wields the Cryo catalyst, marking the introduction of the first Cryo catalyst user. Additionally, the banner will also showcase four-star characters including Venti, Thoma, Chongyun, and Dori.

With Wriothesley's Cryo Vision, he has the exceptional ability to incessantly unleash Cryo elemental damage. As a result, he possesses tremendous potential as a formidable DPS character, particularly in team compositions that revolve around Melt and Frozen elemental reactions. On the other hand, Venti is widely regarded as one of the top-tier Anemo supports and is especially favored by free-to-play players.

The second part of Genshin Impact's ongoing version 4.1 has officially unveiled the four-star characters that will make an appearance. The game follows a strict update schedule, with each new version being split into two banner cycles featuring unique limited characters and weapons.

In the initial part of the update, the introduction of a new character named Neuvillette accompanied the return of Hu Tao, a Pyro polearm user, now on her third re-run. Neuvillette holds great significance within the Fontaine region and is rumored to possess even greater strength than the Hydro Archon.

Genshin Impact's playable roster can be categorized into two groups: five-star and four-star characters. Typically, five-star characters are more powerful, but acquiring them is more challenging due to the 90-wish pity system, which guarantees a five-star drop within 90 wishes. On the other hand, four-star characters have a 10-wish pity, but the drop odds are spread across three different playable units. The upcoming phase 2 banner of Genshin Impact update 4.1 will feature Wriothesley, Venti, Thoma, Chongyun, and Dori, as confirmed by the game's official Twitter account.

Genshin Impact Banner Characters for 4.1 Phase 2

Wriothesley - five-star Cryo catalyst user

Venti - five-star Anemo bow user

Thoma - four-star Pyro polearm user

Chongyun - four-star Cryo claymore user

Dori, a formidable Electro claymore user, shines brightly as a four-star character. Moving on to the second banner phase, the spotlight is solely on the arrival of Wriothesley. The excitement surrounding this new character stems from his exceptional rarity of five stars, as well as his unique ability as a catalyst user with a Cryo Vision. Wriothesley's Normal Attacks will consistently unleash Cryo elemental damage, unleashing a new realm of possibilities for players. As a result, players will need to thoroughly explore diverse team combinations to uncover the perfect party synergy for this remarkable DPS character in Genshin Impact.

Wriothesley has proven to be highly effective in team compositions centered around Melt and Frozen elemental reactions in Genshin Impact, as revealed by previous gameplay leaks. Venti, the Anemo Archon, is widely regarded as one of the top Anemo supports in the game, alongside Kaedehara Kazuha.

A key advantage of using Venti is his versatility in fitting into almost any team composition in Genshin Impact, as Anemo does not hinder the party's primary reaction. Additionally, Venti's popularity stems from the fact that he is very accessible to free-to-play players, requiring minimal resource investment to become viable.

Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
