Four new characters, including Wriothesley and Hu Tao, are set to make their debut in version 4.1 of Genshin Impact. As the Fontaine update approaches, more leaks about the upcoming characters and enemies have started circulating online. However, there has been limited information about the potential version 4.1 banners since a few leaks emerged earlier this year.
During a special program, Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse provided a sneak peek into the Fontaine update. The update will introduce new artifacts, battle pass weapons, and event wishes for Tartaglia, Yelan, and Zhongli. One of the major highlights from the live stream was the introduction of underwater sections as explorable terrains. These areas will be filled with puzzles and formidable enemies. Players will not have an oxygen limit while exploring these sections, and they will have the ability to absorb powers from aquatic creatures to strengthen their characters. Beneath the water's surface, players will embark on treasure hunts and take on bosses. Additionally, it has been confirmed that players will be able to use underwater currents to travel long distances quickly.
Uncle YC has recently leaked new information regarding Genshin Impact's upcoming version 4.1. According to the leak, characters Wriothesley, Venti, Neuvilette, and Hu Tao will be added to the game. Unfortunately, the order in which they will appear in Teyvat is still unknown. Previous leaks speculated that Raiden Shogun would receive a banner in version 4.1, but it seems that Hu Tao will take her place. However, it is crucial for players to approach this leak with caution until an official announcement is released.
Hu Tao, a character introduced two years ago, has significantly gained popularity in Genshin Impact. As a five-star Pyro user, she offers consistent damage and can synergize well with various team compositions. On the other hand, Venti is a bow wielder who relies heavily on his Constellations to unleash his offensive abilities. With his crowd-controlling skills, players can gain the upper hand in combat against multiple foes. If the recent leak proves to be accurate, players will soon have the opportunity to recruit Venti into their party.
Players of Genshin Impact have received leaks regarding Wriothesley, a potential Cryo user. After being showcased in a teaser trailer, many players on the game's subreddit have noted the resemblance between this enigmatic character and Honkai: Star Rail's Sampo. Additional details concerning Wriothesley's weapon type, lore, and abilities are expected to be revealed soon. Additionally, Neuvilette is set to make an appearance in version 4.0 as part of the Archon Quest. Genshin Impact is currently available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version also in the works.
