Genshin Impact: Unveiling the Mysteries of the Second Blooming Hidden Achievement

Unlock the Second Blooming Hidden Achievement in Genshin Impact and claim Primogems and three bonus common chests! Discover the secrets of obtaining and utilizing the Bag of Flower Seeds in this comprehensive guide Max 350 characters

In version 3.4 of Genshin Impact, Hoyoverse introduced a significant event called "Second Blooming." This event allowed players to obtain a free skin for the 4* Electro unit, Lisa. However, back in version 2.0, Genshin Impact had already included a hidden achievement with the same name. This achievement was easily overlooked and forgotten. Additionally, the popularity of the skin event with the same name has likely caused many players who were unaware of the achievement to miss it entirely, as all discussions on "second blooming" were focused on Lisa and her new skin.

To earn the Second Blooming achievement, players must have access to Tatarasuna Island in Inazuma and must have completed the prerequisite world quest, Tatara Tales. Completing this world quest is a significant task as each step is time-locked based on real-life time. It will take players at least a week to complete, assuming they remember to progress it daily. Fortunately, we have a guide on how to complete Tatara Tales available for players who are interested. Completing this quest will prepare players to earn the Second Blooming achievement.

How to Get (and Where to Use) the Bag of Flower Seeds in Genshin Impact

Like the Tatara Tales world quest, the Second Blooming achievement is tied to real-time progression and requires a minimum of three days. However, players will receive a common chest filled with Mora each day, and on the final day, they will receive both a common chest and the usual achievement reward of 5 Primogems. This achievement centers around an NPC named Hanayama Kaoru, a passionate lover of flowers, who can be located in Tatarasuna.

The beach where Mysterious Conches can be found.

To begin this achievement, players must acquire the "Bag of Flower Seeds" from Takashi. This item is a component of a separate hidden achievement. It is obtained by collecting Mysterious Conch shells from the north beach of Kannazuka and trading them with Takashi, an NPC. After two real-life days of collecting the shells and exchanging them, players will receive the Bag of Flower Seeds, enabling them to continue their progress in the Second Blooming achievement.

Players should continue opening Takashi's chests for an additional five real-life days after acquiring the "Bag of Flower Seeds." This will grant them the blueprint for the craftable Hamayumi 4* bow, along with the hidden "Thank you, Come Again" achievement.

Once in possession of the Bag of Flower Seeds, players should seek out Hanayama Kaoru. They can teleport to the Statue of the Seven, situated in the middle of Tatarasuna Island. From there, they will spot a small Inazuman shrine directly uphill from the statue, with Hanayama Kaoru beside it. It is advantageous that she remains in this spot throughout the achievement, so players only need to remember this location each day. They must speak to her twice, hand over the Bag of Flower Seeds, and collect the common chest for the first day.

How to Complete the Second Blooming Hidden Achievement in Genshin Impact

Prepare for a bit of combat on the second day of the achievement. Return to Hanayama Kaoru, but be aware that talking to her will trigger a fight with two Electro Whopperflowers. Defeat the enemies, talk to Hanayama Kaoru again, and claim the common chest and Mora reward. This completes most of the challenging part of the achievement, as the third day is simpler.

On the third and final day, once again visit Hanayama Kaoru without any ambush. Talk to her as usual and give her three Sweet Flowers, which can be found throughout Teyvat. In return, she will give the player a useless "Sun-Dried Sweet Flower" and reward them with a final common chest and the hidden achievement called "Second Blooming."

Upon accomplishing this feat, revisiting Hanayama Kaoru's whereabouts will unveil a captivating sight where her flowers have serenely transformed the landscape.

Genshin Impact can now be enjoyed on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version currently under development.
