How To Use Mysterious Core In Genshin Impact

In Genshin Impact, the exploration aspect is made more challenging and interesting by the absence of quest markers. Occasionally, players may stumble upon quests that require them to rely on their own intuition. As Travelers wander through the vast land of Fontaine, they might encounter a peculiar sight of a man buried in the sand, accompanied by a strangely placed roasted chicken.

Assisting this man, named Henri, will result in the unlocking of a new quest. As the quest progresses, Henri will request the players to locate the whereabouts of Mysterious Cores. These Cores are essential for him to fulfill a commission assigned by his "boss" in the world of Genshin Impact.

Mysterious Core Locations in Genshin Impact

In order to complete the quest called Truly Mouthwatering!, players need to locate seven Mysterious Cores in specific locations within Genshin Impact.

To begin, head to the Waverider Waypoint situated in Elynas. From there, proceed north along the shoreline until you come across the first machine containing the sought-after Mysterious Core.

In Elynas, head towards the westernmost Waypoint. Follow the waterfall and river until you reach the shore, where you will discover the second Mysterious Core. This spot is near the location where players can find one of the Enigmatic Pages needed for the Book of Revealing in Genshin Impact.

Next, direct your attention to the island on the right. Make use of the Teleport Waypoint located on the southernmost side and head northeast.

Head to the Talent Domain in Genshin Impact Fontaine and go a little bit north for the fourth Mysterious Core location.

Use the Teleport Waypoint northeast of #4 and go west.

Teleport once more to the northern Waypoint and proceed westward. Ultimately, players have the option to either swim north (slightly northwest) or utilize the Waypoint located northeast of the Fontaine Fishing Association to swim south.

In order to proceed with the Truly Mouthwatering! Quest in Genshin Impact, players must have all seven cores available. Until then, there is no need to return to Henri. However, once this requirement is met, Henri will contact his "boss," who is revealed to be a member of the Fatui.

Upon encountering the protagonist, the Fatui becomes frightened and attempts to flee. However, the two mysterious individuals in black intervene and restrain the "boss" in a manner similar to what they did to Henri earlier. This sequence of events leaves Henri bewildered.

The two individuals, known as Hunter and Turner, then explain that the Fatui in Genshin Impact is forcing the protagonist to dismantle machines that regulate water quality in Fontaine.

How To Use Mysterious Core In Genshin Impact

To Henri's astonishment, he learned that the machines he had been using, which he believed were eco-friendly, actually posed a threat to the environment. This news came as a shock to him, as he had genuinely believed he was doing something good. Thankfully, despite unintentionally committing what could be considered a crime, the individuals referred to as the "men in black" were given strict instructions not to confront or engage with the main character.

In order to utilize the seven enigmatic cores, players need to initiate the quest titled "Truly Mouthwatering!" within Genshin Impact. By teleporting to the northern shoreline of Poisson (by utilizing the Fontaine talent domain and heading south), players will come across Henri, who is buried underground and facing an imminent assault by Crabs.

The Quest progresses further, requiring Travelers to engage in an association game in order to uncover the identity of the individual who buried Henri and the motive behind it. Once the correct answers have been deduced, Henri assures players a substantial reward upon successfully retrieving all seven enigmatic cores.
