Neuvillette makes a grand entrance into Genshin Impact's playable character roster, showcasing the true power of the Hydro Dragon. Residing in a land abundant with water, he possesses the remarkable ability to manipulate the Element of water. His unique playstyle centers around unleashing a formidable Hydro torrent by harnessing the might of his Charged Attack.
Are Neuvillette Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Neuvillette's Constellations in Genshin Impact differ from those of other important figures like Raiden Shogun and Nahida. While these characters often have extravagant abilities, Neuvillette's Constellations primarily focus on enhancing his damage output without significantly changing his playstyle.Neuvillette's playstyle undergoes a significant transformation with his C6 constellation. C1 and C2 provide only minor damage bonuses, with C4 enhancing the effectiveness of C6. For players seeking the most cost-effective option, C2 and C3 are viable choices, but the ultimate enhancement is found in C6.
C1 - Venerable Institution
When Neuvillette enters the battlefield, he gains 1 Past Draconic Glories stack from his Passive Talent "Heir to the Ancient Sea's Authority." Furthermore, his resistance against interruptions is heightened when utilizing the Charged Attack Empowerment: Legal Evaluation and the Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment.
Importance: Medium
C2 - Juridical Exhortation
Optimizing Neuvillette's damage output heavily relies on his second Ascension passive (A2), making it crucial. However, players can easily maximize this passive by assembling a team with multiple Elements, diminishing the significance of this effect. On a positive note, this provides players with more opportunities to include two Hydro characters, thereby activating Hydro Resonance and bolstering the Iudex's HP.
The Passive Talent "Heir to the Ancient Sea's Authority" is upgraded to enhance the effect: Equitable Judgment's CRIT DMG for Charged Attack will increase by 14% for each stack of Past Draconic Glories. The maximum possible increase through this method is 42%.
Neuvillette's second Constellation in Genshin Impact provides a moderate level of importance. It functions as a typical damage boost, offering a 42% increase in critical damage. While this may not be as impressive as the top-tier C2 constellations of characters like Raiden Shogun or Nahida, it is still highly desirable for players seeking maximum damage per second output from the Chief of Justice character.
C4 - Crown of Commiseration
Effect: When Neuvillette is on the field and is healed, 1 Sourcewater Droplet will be generated. This effect can occur once every 4s.
Importance: Medium
Players should be able to maintain a 100% Charged Attack uptime by combining Neuvillette’s Skill and Burst, so this C4 is mostly a build-up for his C6.
C6 - Wrathful Recompense
Whenever Neuvillette uses the Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment, she has the ability to absorb nearby Sourcewater Droplets within an area of effect. Each absorbed Droplet will increase the duration of the Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment by 1 second. In addition, whenever Equitable Judgment hits opponents, it will release two additional bursts every 2 seconds. Each burst will cause Hydro damage equivalent to 10% of Neuvillette's maximum HP. The damage caused by these bursts will be considered as damage dealt by Equitable Judgment.
With Neuvillette's C6, he can extend the duration of his Charged Attack to over 3 seconds. Additionally, each Equitable Judgment cast absorbs three Sourcewater Droplets, resulting in approximately 6 seconds of Charged Attack time, which is twice the original duration. By synergizing this with his A2, A4, and weapon passive, Neuvillette can effortlessly maintain maximum stacks of certain passives while continuously unleashing his water torrent.
