In version 4.2 of Genshin Impact, a leak has revealed a new creature from Fontaine that will be introduced next month. Previous leaks for the upcoming patch have hinted at the addition of new bosses to the enemy lineup. One exciting revelation is that Childe's whale, encountered in his Abyssal dreams, will join the weekly boss rotation in version 4.2. The update will also introduce new elemental enemies such as Rifthounds and Abyss Mages to the Spiral Abyss.

Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact expanded the water-themed region of Fontaine, offering players new characters, events, and quests. Additionally, the update introduced two new bosses: the Millennial Pearl Seahorse and the Experimental Field Generator. Each boss has unique attack patterns. The Millennial Pearl Seahorse resides in an underwater cave and summons Resonant Coral Orbs as it prepares for a powerful attack. Resembling seahorses, this creature's giant tail and horn give it the appearance of a unicorn. On the other hand, the Experimental Field Generator poses a challenge to players, as its Pneuma-aligned attacks inflict significant damage and may prove difficult to overcome with a random team.

The enigmatic beast has a captivating chroma-themed design and numerous tentacles resembling a jellyfish.
