Although the 3.7 patch of Genshin Impact may not have had a strong impact on players invested in the game's storyline and the Traveler's adventures, it did bring forth new event quests and a hangout story that contribute to the lore and story progression of this version update. However, the significance of these additions pales in comparison to the exciting Sumeru patches that players have recently experienced. Instead, the focus of this update lies in the expansion of the Genius Invokation TCG, allowing fans of this minigame to explore new playstyles and perpetuating the game's dynamic nature with fresh strategies and distinctive combinations.
Within this version update, Amber, the only 4-star character from Genshin Impact to make an appearance, joins the playable character roster of the TCG. This sets her apart from the other 9 playable characters introduced in this update. Consequently, it is possible that players may have overlooked Amber in favor of newly added Archon character cards or more popular 5-star characters. However, for those who have been fans of this character from the beginning of the game, she still holds value and is deserving of a try, particularly due to her supportive DPS abilities.

Normal Attack: Sharpshooter
Obtaining Amber's card in the TCG is just as simple as acquiring other character cards. Players need to purchase Match Invitation Letters from the Cat's Tail and use them to invite Amber to a Friendly Fracas duel. Through this process, players can easily obtain her card. Additionally, Amber's Talent Card can also be obtained through a similar method, although it requires players to complete some additional objectives. Therefore, even players who are new to the Genius Invokation TCG can easily obtain Amber's TCG card, making it accessible to everyone.

While this talent card can be useful, it requires precise timing when using normal attacks and may not have as much impact as other talent cards that offer more versatility within combos, particularly when players are limited in their action card choices.
Best Amber Decks
Amber offers a straightforward playstyle without relying on specific combos or gimmicks, making her an ideal choice for players who prefer a simpler and less combo-intensive gameplay. As a sub-DPS character, Amber excels in dealing piercing damage and inflicting Pyro DMG, making her a versatile option for various team compositions that benefit from Pyro applications. However, due to the limited extent of her Pyro abilities, players can significantly enhance their gameplay by incorporating other characters that can apply Pyro effects. This not only expands the range of strategic options but also allows players to include Pyro Elemental Resonance Cards in their deck, further boosting their team's effectiveness.
Amber + Keqing + Bennett
One of the most effective deck options involving Amber is to pair her with Keqing and Bennett. This deck has strong defensive abilities, thanks to Baron Bunny's utility and Bennett's healing potential. It also works well as a combo-breaker deck, using the Overload reaction to force the opponent to switch characters. Another important aspect of this deck is the synergy between Keqing and Amber, as both of them deal piercing damage with their Elemental Bursts on a large scale, allowing them to take care of multiple characters simultaneously.
To maximize the effectiveness of this deck, players should consider starting their combo with Keqing's Elemental Skill and then switch to Amber to summon Baron Bunny, which can quickly trigger the Overload reaction. Depending on whether Baron Bunny is still active or not, players can then choose to switch to Bennett or Keqing, or summon Baron Bunny again. Although this deck benefits from quick swap cards, it is not necessary since Keqing is capable of quick swapping on her own, especially if the damage taken is not substantial enough to require Bennett's abilities.

However, players who are more inclined to focus on Tartaglia's DPS can also consider replacing Fatui Pyro Agent with Xiangling.
Amber + Hu Tao + Collei
Burn may not play a major role in Genshin Impact's gameplay, but it proves to be quite useful in the TCG. Fans of Amber and Collei can take advantage of their friendship by using them together, but their pairing offers more benefits than just that. Both characters excel at summoning, allowing for extensive use of elemental abilities.

Considering Amber's overall versatility, the choice of action cards used does not rely as heavily on her compared to the other character cards in the team. As a result, players have the opportunity to explore commonly used cards in the game that offer dice management options such as "Timmie," "Varanara," and "The Bestest Travel Companion," as well as cards that facilitate quick swapping such as "Katheryne," "Leave It To Me!," "Changing Shifts," and "Dawn Winery."
These cards can prove particularly valuable for swiftly switching to Amber in order to activate Baron Bunny and reduce expected significant damage, ultimately shifting the balance of the battle. Additionally, players may want to consider viable options for managing HP, despite Amber's damage mitigation, given the limited usage of Baron Bunny.
