The quest "Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste" in Fontaine is unique among Genshin Impact quests as it does not involve Melusines. Instead, players will interact with a talented young artist named Salsa. While exploring the Land of Justice, players will discover five canvases scattered throughout the open world, each indicating a quest location. Successfully completing tasks in all of these locations will unlock the final spot and ultimately reward players with a Genshin Impact achievement. Below are the locations necessary to complete the "Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste" quest in Genshin Impact.
Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste Quest In Genshin Impact
In order to finish the Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste quest in Genshin Impact, players are required to complete five mini-quests with Salsa and then participate in the final task at the sixth location. By successfully completing this hidden mission, players will also unlock the Aesthetics of Ugliness achievement in Genshin Impact.
There are a total of five locations to visit prior to the final quest, and they can be completed in any order.
Location #1
Teleport to Beryl Region Statue of the Seven in Genshin Impact, then head south to a house to find a Crystal Mechanism surrounded by Hilichurls.
Activate the device and navigate the platform. Utilize the bow character to strike the Crystal whenever there is no available path. Upon successfully completing the challenge, proceed to unlock the Chest that appears, initiating the quest titled "Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste" in the game Genshin Impact.
Finish the conversation with Salsa and shift the Crystal Mechanism on top of a stone fence, then move on to the next area.
Location #2
Go to the Waypoint in the middle of Beryl Region (northwest of the Statue of the Seven), then glide west to the road or take the Waypoint a little to the south and go north.
Move the two Water Volume Detection Crystals to the middle, then activate them using Miraculous Hydrograna. Open the Genshin Impact Exquisite Chest to summon Salsa.
Next, move the Mechanism in the middle of the road to the side. Like the other task, players will get Primogems and Viewpoints after completion.
Location #3
Head to the shore west of the Crab Boss (Emperor of Fire and Iron).
Grab the purple Ousia blocks to attack the Pneumousia Relay and turn them all to green, then open the Chest to start the quest with Salsa.
Shift the Relay on the left side of the road so that there are two Relays on each side.
Location #4
Use the Teleport Waypoint west of Court of Fontaine, then head north until there are several Windmill Mechanisms.
Switch to an Anemo character and spin all the Windmills to spawn an Exquisite Chest. As always, open the Chest to summon Salsa again.
Move the Windmill that’s on the grass to the flower bush area. A new Viewpoint will appear after completing the task.
Location #5
Go to the West Slopes of Mont Automnequi Waypoint, then head southwest to find more Water Volume Detection Crystals.
Place a cultivated Miraculous Hydrograna in the container, then activate the other two Crystals using Hydro Skills. Of course, players must open the Chest to summon Salsa.
For the final location, move the device in the middle toward the flower bush.
Aesthetics Of Ugliness Achievement In Genshin Impact
Once you’ve dealt with all five locations, make your way to the northern area of Fontaine’s weapon ascension materials domain in the Genshin Impact game. Afterward, initiate the activation of the Hydro Monuments to summon a Chest.
Following Salsa's guidance, Paimon devises a plan to unearth the buried Monuments, removing them from their subterranean confines. By heeding the advice of Emergency Food, a mysterious individual materializes. Amidst heated exchanges between players and the self-proclaimed artist, Salsa intervenes and rebukes him. Once the dispute is quelled, players ultimately achieve the Aesthetics Of Ugliness accolade in Genshin Impact, thus signifying the long-awaited conclusion of the Good Stuff, But Terrible Taste quest.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
