Neuvillette, the Chief of Justice in the Land of Justice, is a prominent figure in Genshin Impact Fontaine. With the title of the Hydro Dragon, his popularity soars as people instantly associate him with exceptional power surpassing that of the average Genshin Impact characters.

1 Neuvillette + Nahida + Xiangling + Zhongli

When it comes to playing Neuvillette, his main standout feature is his Charged Attack. This powerful ability unleashes a torrent of water in a long distance forward, dealing significant damage. To enhance this Charged Attack, Neuvillette's Skill and Burst abilities support the charging process by generating Sourcewater Droplets. These Droplets drastically reduce the charging time, allowing Neuvillette to cast his attack instantly instead of waiting for several seconds.

To fully optimize Neuvillette's potential, players must not only pay attention to the mechanics of the Droplets but also prioritize feeding his second Ascension passive. This passive requires the inclusion of frequent Elemental Reactions in Neuvillette's team composition in Genshin Impact. Harnessing the power of Elemental Reactions will unlock Neuvillette's true strength and ensure he reaches his highest potential on the battlefield.

Neuvillette's Ascension passive boosts his Charged Attack damage whenever a party member activates Hydro-related reactions, allowing for up to three stacks. To optimize Neuvillette's performance in Genshin Impact, it is recommended to have a team composition that includes at least two other characters capable of triggering reactive abilities.

Against bosses, this team comp is amazing because:

The party includes three Elements that can react with Hydro

Zhongli ensures uninterrupted gameplay by providing reliable resistance, allowing Neuvillette to execute Charge Attacks seamlessly. Nahida, on the other hand, consistently applies Dendro and triggers Elemental Reactions as long as her Seeds of Skandha ability remains active.

Xiangling excels as a Pyro enabler, enabling Neuvillette to utilize Vaporize with some of her hits.

The team functions by initially utilizing Zhongli's Skill, followed by applying Nahida's Skill to the enemy. Subsequently, Xiangling activates both her Skill and Burst to inflict Burn on the enemy. This enables Neuvillette to trigger Vaporize with her Elemental Skill. Proceeding this, the Chief of Justice executes a Charge Attack to apply Hydro, resulting in Xiangling's Pyronado triggering Vaporize. Owing to the significant Pyro application of Pyronado, the enemy eventually becomes affected by Pyro and Burn with Dendro, enabling Neuvillette to perform Vaporize with some of her Charged Attacks in the rotation.

Limitations and considerations

While this team excels in taking down bosses or single-target opponents, it may face challenges in upholding the Vaporize strategy against large groups of enemies. Additionally, players should bear in mind the limited range of Pyronado and avoid positioning themselves too far away from the target.

2 Neuvillette + Baizhu + Raiden Shogun + Venti

Genshin Impact: Master the Perfect Neuvillette Team Composition for Unmatched Success!

Xiangling is currently the only reliable Pyro enabler and sub-DPS for Neuvillette in Genshin Impact, making her a crucial part of the next multi-reaction team comp. The Hyperbloom reaction, although less effective against bosses, proves to be highly advantageous when facing multiple enemies.

Baizhu's role in the team is to provide healing and shielding. This enables Neuvillette to execute Charge Attacks without any interruptions. Once the field is filled with Dendro Cores, Raiden Shogun's Skill will apply Electro, triggering the Hyperbloom reaction. Alongside this, Electro-Charged is triggered, thanks to Neuvillette's Ascension passive. In the final step, Venti's ability to Swirl Hydro comes into play. This not only reduces the enemy's Hydro RES but also restores Energy for Neuvillette's Burst. Moreover, Venti's grouping ability proves to be useful when dealing with the Iudex's water torrent. Neuvillette can easily target enemies flying within Venti's Vortex, and both Baizhu and Raiden Shogun will automatically target these enemies, eliminating any concerns about opponents being out of range.

3 Neuvillette + Nahida + Kuki Shinobu + Kazuha

Genshin Impact: Master the Perfect Neuvillette Team Composition for Unmatched Success!

A Neuvillette team composition can be created using various Hyperbloom teams. Exemplary Dendro characters that can be utilized are Nahida, Baizhu, Dendro MC, Kirara, Yaoyao, and Collei. Electro characters such as Kuki Shinobu, Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, or Dori can also be employed. For the last slot, either Anemo or Geo can be considered. However, if the team has enough Reactions to optimize Neuvillette's passive ability, adding a second Hydro character to increase HP is also a viable choice. Some units that Travelers can deploy include Zhongli, Albedo, Lynette, Kazuha, Sayu, Venti, Sucrose, Kokomi, and Mona.

In this scenario, it is Kuki Shinobu who initiates Hyperbloom while Nahida activates Dendro. Although Neuvillette is capable of healing himself effortlessly, the healing abilities of the former Shrine Maiden can still prove useful if other units incur damage. However, it is crucial to bear in mind that our team lacks a shielder, thus Neuvillette must be positioned strategically to prevent interruptions when utilizing his Charged Attack. On the other hand, Kazuha will debuff the enemy's Hydro resistance, enhance Neuvillette's Hydro damage, and simultaneously gather the enemies together. Unlike the team with Venti, where Raiden Shogun can easily access the Anemo Archon's Burst, Kuki has more limited range, making Kazuha an excellent substitute.
