Furina's Elemental Skill in Genshin Impact has been teased in a recent leak, building anticipation for her upcoming release. The leak confirms that the Hydro Archon, Fontaine, will also be introduced in the Version 4.2 update. Furina, who made her debut in the HoYoverse RPG's latest region, has been highly anticipated by players. In the region's storyline, the Hydro Archon engages in a legal battle with the Traveler at the Opera Epiclese to prove the innocence of Lyney and Lynette. Now, leaked gameplay footage is providing more insight into Furina's abilities.

A gameplay video, shared by well-known Genshin Impact leaker Mero, showcases the in-game depiction of Furina's Elemental Skill. When activated, Furina unleashes three Hydro mimics to engage and attack her adversaries, inflicting Hydro damage through both close-range and ranged assaults. Following activation, these mimics persist on the battlefield for a brief duration, each possessing distinct attack patterns and autonomously targeting enemies. It remains unclear from the video whether Furina's Hydro mimics deliver single-target strikes or if some of their attacks possess area-of-effect capabilities.

Fans have already noticed similarities between Furina's Elemental Skill and the mimics from Genshin Impact's "Fabulous Fungi Frenzy" event. This is not the first time Genshin Impact has drawn inspiration from past events, as Nahida's Elemental Skill was also influenced by the "Fayz Trials" event. Furina is expected to be released in Version 4.2 in early November.

Furina's introduction in Version 4.2 will coincide with the highly anticipated debut of another character in Genshin Impact. Charlotte, a Steambird reporter, will join as a new four-star character, marking the first playable character from Fontaine to be revealed in-game. Leaks have also hinted at Charlotte's gameplay, which involves using her camera to deal Cryo damage and healing allies with her Elemental Burst. With their November debut, Furina and Charlotte will bring unique and exciting new additions to Genshin Impact's roster.
