Collecting Crystal Cores in Genshin Impact can be a tedious task, especially for players who frequently create Condensed Resin. However, not making Condensed Resin would only worsen the daily resin grind, leaving players with limited alternatives. Thankfully, finding Crystal Cores can be made easier once players know where to look. Additionally, Genshin Impact recently introduced the 'Crystalfly Trap' gear item, which assists in acquiring Crystal Cores, although it has a weekly usage limit.

To simplify the process, here is a list of the top locations to collect Crystal Cores, each offering a significant amount with minimal effort required. The list begins with the easiest locations and gradually progresses to those offering greater rewards but requiring more effort. It is highly recommended for players to include the 4-star Anemo unit, Sayu, in their party if possible. Sayu possesses a passive ability that prevents Crystalflies from being scared off in her presence.

9 The Dendro Hypostasis Arena, Sumeru

In version 3.2 of Genshin Impact, a new boss enemy called the Dendro Hypostasis was introduced. To encounter this formidable foe, players need to make their way to the teleport waypoint situated to the south of Aaru Village and venture into an adjacent cave. However, for those in search of Crystal Cores, this very same teleport waypoint presents a convenient opportunity to acquire three cores effortlessly.

8 Land of Lower Setekh, Sumeru

To obtain the three Crystal Cores, players should first make their way to the teleport location mentioned earlier, which is located south of Aaru Village in Sumeru. Upon teleporting, players will face a rock directly behind them. Above this rock, three Dendro Crystalflies can be found hovering. By swiftly sprinting through the Crystalflies while continuously clicking the grab button, players can effortlessly collect all three Crystal Cores in this area.

After acquiring the Crystal Cores near the Dendro Hypostasis, players will find the next set of Crystal Cores conveniently located nearby. To locate them, refer to the map and head towards the teleport waypoint situated directly west of the previous one. This particular waypoint is not in close proximity to any significant landmarks, so it can be easily identified by its relation to the previous waypoint.

Upon arrival at the waypoint, players will be greeted with a sight of three Crystalflies, seemingly close enough to be grabbed. It is worth noting that if Sayu is not among the party members, these Crystalflies will immediately scatter upon teleportation. Therefore, speed becomes crucial in capturing this group. Similar to the previous set, a combination of continuous running and relentless pressing of the grab button should suffice in capturing all three Crystalflies.

7 Thalatta Submarine Canyon, Fontaine

The Fontaine update in Genshin Impact has introduced several new spots where players can easily collect Crystal Cores, with the Thalatta Submarine Canyon standing out as the most accessible and rewarding option. This location can be found northeast of the Courth of Fontaine, positioned right in the middle of the water at the top of the Genshin Impact 4.0 map.

Upon reaching the teleport waypoint in the middle of Thalatta Submarine Canyon, take a moment to look down and to your immediate right. You will immediately notice the presence of six Hydro Crystalflies gracefully swimming around a small cave. Swiftly swim towards them, simultaneously spamming the grab key to capture them. Additionally, inside this cave, there is a plentiful supply of Condessence Crystals waiting to be collected, along with the necessary power to gather them.

6 Pale Forgotten Glory Domain, Fontaine

Located just south of Fontaine's bustling city lies Pale Forgotten Glory, the favored destination for local talent scouting. Those who have created new characters after the 4.0 update are likely familiar with this domain. Upon teleporting to the domain, three Hydro Crystalflies can be spotted near the entrance, effortlessly captured by spam clicking while gracefully swimming towards them.

5 "A Lonely Place" in Fontaine

In the Beryl Region of Fontaine, players will stumble upon a hidden underground civilization inhabited by the Melusine, a unique species native to Fontaine. This remarkable location is unveiled as part of Fontaine's epic world quest, however, gaining access to it is a relatively swift process. For avid collectors embarking on the Crystal Core expedition, the teleportation path leading to Merusea Village proves to be incredibly advantageous.

To initiate the Crystal Core hunt, players should teleport to the Merusea Village teleport waypoint and promptly turn around. A circular purple portal can be found behind the waypoint, and interacting with it will transport players to "A Lonely Place." In this location, players will encounter several yellow plants that can be interacted with, yielding various valuable items. Through testing, it has been observed that these plants have the potential to drop Crystalflies, artifacts of low rarity, and Mora. However, the Crystalfly drop is the most frequent, and exploring this area typically results in acquiring six or more Crystal Cores.

4 Windrise, Mondstadt

The Statue of the Seven, situated in Windrise, is among the initial Statues of the Seven that players encounter in the game Genshin Impact. This tree holds significance in Mondstadt's history and plays a recurring role in the main storyline.

Luckily, there are approximately six Anemo Crystalflies that flutter around this tree, although they may prove challenging to catch at times due to their differing altitudes.

3 Domain of Guyun, Liyue

The Guyun Stone Forest, situated just off the Liyue Harbor coastline, houses Captain Beidou's ship and a cluster of islands. Within this area lies the Domain of Guyun, a valuable artifact domain where the "Archaic Petra" and "Retracing Bolide" sets can be obtained.

Upon teleporting to the domain, four Geo Crystalflies can be seen circling the vicinity, with an additional two found by jumping off the nearby ledge. Acquiring these Crystal Cores may pose a challenge, as their heights vary. It is highly recommended to have Sayu in your party in order to successfully collect all of them.

2 Mt. Tianheng, Liyue

Within close proximity to Liyue Harbor lies Mt. Tianheng, a remarkable duo of towering peaks that serves as an optimal spot for procuring weapon ore. However, it is essential to bear in mind that nestled in a nearby cave resides a secretive congregation of six Geo Crystalflies.

To locate these elusive Crystalflies, players ought to journey towards the Mt. Tianheng teleportation point and venture towards the right where a group of Hilichurls can be found. Keep an eye out for the cave entrance slightly above them. Players may choose to engage in combat with these Hilichurls or swiftly traverse past them, mindful that they will persistently assail the player even as they gather the coveted Crystalflies concealed within the cavern.

1 Dawn Winery, Mondstadt

Players should head to Dawn Winery and the nearby Statue of Seven to find Crystal Core grinds. The teleport location at Dawn Winery has three Anemo Crystalflies, but the main area of interest is the winery itself. The grape fields throughout Dawn Winery are filled with numerous Crystalflies, and simply exploring the entire building will result in finding six of them. Additionally, there are some Crystalflies on the winery roof and around nearby buildings.

Although this location takes the most time, it also offers the highest number of Crystal Cores, with over 10 in total. To maximize gains, players should start by collecting the Crystal Cores near the Statue of the Seven, and then proceed to run through the fields of Dawn Winery to easily gather the remaining six.
