On Sunday, December 10th, Brittany Mahomes revealed a new game day hairstyle on Instagram. The 28-year-old switched up her usual bouncy curls for a messy yet stylish updo, showcasing a voluminous bun and loose face-framing tendrils before her husband Patrick Mahomes' game with the Kansas City Chiefs against the Buffalo Bills.
Brittany’s elegant updo highlighted her soft glam look, complete with delicate lashes, a shimmering nose highlight, and a matte pink lip. She complemented her hairstyle and makeup with a black puffer jacket, red leather pants, and black boots, representing the Chiefs’ team colors.
Sunday’s game was a challenging one for 28-year-old Patrick and the Chiefs, who suffered a 20-17 loss to the Bills. The Chiefs were on the brink of scoring a game-winning touchdown when officials called a penalty on a play by Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney in the final minutes of the game.

The call sparked outrage among fans and players, leading to Patrick slamming his helmet on the sidelines and seemingly shouting at the referees and his teammates.
"It's a hard pill to swallow," Patrick said to reporters post-game. "It's disappointing for both me and for football in general to overturn a great play like that, especially when a player like Travis [Kelce] makes a game-changing move. We all want to see the outcome of the game determined by the players on the field." (Kelce, 34, threw a backwards pass to Toney, who then scored a touchdown.)
He added, "Referees are human and they make mistakes. There were no warnings throughout the entire game, and then to make a call like that in the final minute? In the end, we're left discussing the referees instead of the game. This is not what we want for the NFL or for football as a whole."
Brittany seemingly backed up her husband, sharing an Instagram Story of a ref on the field and sarcastically writing “MVP” over the clip.

She recently made a trip to Wisconsin to see the Chiefs face off against the Green Bay Packers. She sported a black and red bomber jacket with Patrick's number on the back and was accompanied by Taylor Swift, who is romantically involved with Kelce, in a luxury box suite.
Swift, 33, also embraced the theme by wearing a red teddy coat that fans speculated she may have borrowed from Brittany. The coat looked nearly identical to the one Brittany wore at a Chiefs game in November 2022.
