T.J. Holmes has not only become Amy Robach's number one supporter, but he has also taken on the role of her personal chef as she prepares for the New York City Marathon.
In a recent Instagram post on October 18, Robach, who is 50 years old, expressed her gratitude to Holmes for providing her with post-run eggs and chorizo during her marathon training session. She captioned a series of photos with the words "Let the tapering begin...and a big thank you to @officialtjholmes."
Robach took fans on a scenic journey during her morning run, showcasing her route that featured a picturesque stretch alongside the tranquil river at the break of dawn. Completing her athletic ensemble, the broadcaster sported sleek black leggings and donned a stylish 2021 marathon sweatshirt in black. The sweatshirt was adorned with vibrant sleeves in hues of pink, yellow, and blue, perfectly complementing her eye-catching sneakers in a bold combination of bright pink and orange.

In addition, Robach praised the delicious meal prepared by Holmes, who served her eggs, chorizo, and vegetables garnished with cilantro.
Moreover, Holmes was not only Robach's personal chef. On Wednesday, the journalist shared on his Instagram that he is also actively preparing for the 2023 NYC event. Captioning multiple pictures from his recent outings, he included hashtags like "#instride", "#runweek", "#runplaylist", and "#NYCMarathon2023".
Holmes posted a picture featuring the shadows of two individuals running, presumably himself and Robach. Additionally, he included screenshots of his evening run on October 15th, covering a distance of 20 miles, as well as his morning run on October 17th, spanning five miles.
Remarkably, both of Holmes' runs were completed at an impressive pace of around 8 minutes and 58 seconds per mile. In comparison, Robach's training session on Wednesday consisted of eight miles, nearly matching Holmes' pace, clocking in at approximately 9 minutes and 9 seconds per mile.
The couple had previously participated in the 2022 NYC Marathon as a team. "4 marathons ... 2 in the last 4 weeks ... I could never have accomplished this by myself!" Robach expressed on Instagram in November 2022, along with photos of them crossing the finish line. "I have so much love for this running crew. We support and train with each other, and cross that finish line together. To all the people who came out to cheer us on along the streets of the 5 boroughs, thank you ... there's no city in the world greater than this!"
Shortly after their shared achievement in the NYC Marathon, the then-colleagues became newsworthy due to their romantic involvement. In November 2022, pictures emerged of Robach and Holmes appearing affectionate, despite being married to other individuals.
The previous anchors of Good Morning America, GMA3: What You Need to Know, were taken off the show in December 2022 due to the ongoing scandal.
In that same month, Holmes initiated divorce proceedings with Marilee Fiebig, with whom he has a 10-year-old daughter named Sabine. Holmes, who also has a daughter named Brianna and a son named Jaiden from his previous marriage to Amy Ferson, finalized his divorce with Fiebig, who is 45 years old, on October 11.
Robach, on her end, was legally deemed single in April following her over 10-year marriage to Andrew Shue. (Robach has two daughters, Ava and Annalise, from her first husband Tim McIntosh. Additionally, she is the stepmother to Shue's sons, Nate, Aidan, and Wyatt, whom he shares with Jennifer Hageney.)
In January, we were the first to report that Robach and Holmes would be leaving GMA's third hour due to the drama. Despite this setback in their professional lives, the couple has continued to stay devoted to each other.
A source revealed exclusively to Us in August that the couple is currently in a positive state. They are determined to leave behind all the negative rumors concerning the affair and focus on their future together. Following a period of keeping a low profile, Robach and Holmes have intentions to cohabitate and take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
