Anime enthusiasts may recognize Jirou-san as a celebrated voice actor who has showcased his talents in bringing characters like Theo Magath in Attack on Titan, Orlumbus in One Piece, Leol in Hunter x Hunter, and others to life. Additionally, he has also provided voices for numerous supporting characters in various anime titles.

The brief promotional video highlights Denken's abilities as a powerful mage and his upcoming participation in the First Class Mage Exam alongside Frieren, Fern, Lawine, and others. In chapter 37 of the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga, he is mentioned as a second-class mage and described by the Exam proctor, Genau, as a "sly old fox" who became the imperial mage after surviving a violent power struggle.
