Gamers will once again have the ability to swing around the Fortnite map with the return of the Grapple Gloves, addressing the previous lack of mobility items.

In Chapter 4 Season 3, the introduction of the jungle biome and various innovative elements left certain players dissatisfied with the limited mobility choices available. However, responding to player feedback, Epic Games has now included the Grapple Gloves as items on the ground or in chests in both Battle Royale and Zero Build game modes. This addition offers players greater flexibility in traversing the game's terrain swiftly and evading the perilous storm.

Gamers will now have the ability to swing across the Fortnite map once again, after a season without sufficient mobility items. Chapter 4 Season 3 introduced significant changes to Fortnite, including the addition of a jungle biome with various exciting features, all under the Fortnite WILDS theme. Unfortunately, this season had one aspect that many gamers did not appreciate.

In Fortnite, as the match progresses, players are forced closer together by a deadly storm. As the Storm Circle begins to close, gamers must move to a safe area, as remaining in the storm causes gradual health loss and eventual elimination. With the vast size of the main Fortnite island, players often encounter difficulties escaping the storm, highlighting the importance of having mobility items.

Players have expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of available mobility options in Chapter 4 Season 3. Despite the presence of cars and Raptors, valuable items like the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters, ODM Gear, and Kinetic Blade were removed from the game by the end of Chapter 4 Season 2. However, Epic Games has acknowledged the importance of mobility to players and is reintroducing the Grapple Gloves. These gloves can now be obtained as floor loot or from chests, and are accessible in both the Battle Royale and Zero Build game modes.

Interestingly, it took longer than anticipated for this item to make a comeback. In early June, leaks indicated that the Grapple Gloves might be added back to Fortnite, as they had been included in the game's files as part of the NPC loot pool.

Chapter 4 Season 3 will conclude on August 25th, which means that players will have limited time to experience the season's mobility options. Epic Games has been exploring different ways to introduce mobility in the game, as it was believed that an abundance of movement-enhancing items diminished the significance of the Storm Circle in Fortnite. The developers are dedicated to maintaining a balanced and enjoyable experience for all players, while preserving the integrity of the Battle Royale aspect of the game.

Fortnite is currently accessible on various platforms, including Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
