Andy Cohen needs to grab a camera because former Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino and Bravo personality Shannon Beador's ex-boyfriend John Janssen are forming a bond.
According to Alexis' publicist, Spencer Lubitz, "Alexis and John have a lot in common and it's clear why they are becoming friends so quickly." This was reported to Page Six on November 21.
Alexis, 46, and John, 61, ignited speculation about a possible romance after being seen sitting together at a group dinner on Sunday, November 19. A photo of John with his arm around Alexis was taken at The Quiet Woman in Corona Del Mar, California. According to Alexis’ representative, the two happened to be at the same place at the same time and formed a friendship. The rep also noted that in Orange County, it's not uncommon for people to cross paths due to its small size.
After the photo of Alexis and John went viral, Shannon, 59, who had dated John from 2019 to 2022, posted a series of photos on Instagram to spread positivity. "A good laugh can heal a lot of hurts," she captioned the images of herself smiling and laughing in a stylish black dress.
Although Shannon and Alexis never appeared together on RHOC, they experienced off-screen drama. In 2018, Alexis' former husband Jim Bellino filed a $1 million defamation lawsuit against Shannon and her co-star Tamra Judge for speculating on the "Juicy Scoop" podcast that Jim, 61, might end up in jail for alleged shady behavior.
Shannon succeeded in her legal battle against Jim, 61, in 2020 and was granted $137,340.25 to cover her legal expenses. Meanwhile, Tamra, 56, and Jim reached a settlement in 2021.
Alexis and Shannon were recently seen at the same restaurant in September, just before Shannon's arrest for a hit-and-run and driving under the influence. Following rumors that Shannon was talking negatively about her that night, Alexis expressed her response to TMZ.
"We didn't speak that night, but it's upsetting to hear that she may have negative feelings toward me, especially since I wasn't involved in Jim Bellino's lawsuit against Shannon," she told the outlet.
Following her recent arrest, Shannon was spotted with John, as they were seen entering her home together days after the incident.
Shannon's DUI arrest resulted in a three-year informal probation sentence earlier this month. In addition, she is required to pay various fines, complete 40 hours of community service, and finish a nine-month alcohol program.

Shannon expressed gratitude that no one else was harmed in the incident, stating, "I have gained valuable insights from my regrettable error and understand that driving under the influence, regardless of the distance, is unacceptable."
Earlier this month, both Shannon and Alexis attended BravoCon in Las Vegas. Alexis was on hand with other RHOC alums to celebrate Vicki Gunvalson’s “Wifetime” Achievement Award.
