Florence Pugh has established herself as both a talented actress and a bold fashion icon.
Over time, Pugh has captivated us with numerous unforgettable fashion choices, many of which have generated significant media attention. In July 2022, she flawlessly embraced the Barbiecore trend by choosing a hot pink halter dress for her appearance at the Valentino Haute Couture fashion show. While Pugh looked stunning in the whimsical tulle ensemble, she faced criticism due to the visibility of her nipples through the sheer fabric.
Pugh, however, refused to let the trolls bring her down. "I knew that when I wore that amazing Valentino dress, there would inevitably be comments about it. Whether they were negative or positive, we all understood the attention it would attract," wrote the Marvel star on Instagram. "I was thrilled to wear it and felt no nerves whatsoever. Not before, during, or even now. What has been fascinating to observe is just how effortlessly men can publicly and proudly tear down a woman's body for all to see."
She went on to say, "Fortunately, I have reached a point where I accept and embrace the unique qualities of my body that make me who I am. I'm content with all the 'imperfections' that I couldn't accept when I was 14."
