Lucy Hale's Dazzling Fashion Evolution: From Sequins to Short Hems

Lucy Hale is a fashion icon that always captures attention with her stunning wardrobe choices on the red carpet. Her rise to fame began with her role as Hadley Hawthorne on The O.C. in 2006, and she later starred as the determined Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars for seven successful seasons until 2017. Since then, she has continued to showcase her talent in various TV shows and movies, including Truth or Dare, A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, and Fantasy Island.

The Katy Keene star's personal and red carpet style always manages to amaze us, alongside her remarkable acting career. Despite her glamorous Hollywood outfits, Hale revealed in a February 2020 interview with The Jam TV Show that she's more of a "jeans, tee shirt, sneakers kind of girl ... and a leather jacket." In January 2020, the A Nice Girl Like You actress was spotted in Los Angeles donning her signature look: a cropped white T-Shirt, black leggings featuring a striped waistband, and gray sneakers. She completed the outfit with a classic leather jacket, hoop earrings, sunglasses, and a bun twisted with her brunette locks.

Hale's effortless style is enviable, but her red carpet appearances are equally captivating. At the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in March 2022, the actress stunned in a mesmerizing Dolce & Gabbana gown. The outfit featured a bedazzled corset bodice, a one-shoulder neckline, a form-fitting skirt with a thigh-high slit, and fringe cascading down her shoulder.

To complement her outfit, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 actress opted for a dewy makeup look with warm eyeshadow shades, subtle contour, feathered eyebrows, peachy cheeks, and rosy lips. She styled her hair in a chic updo with a middle part and accessorized with minimalistic rings and hoop earrings to complete the look.

Hale exuded confidence and sophistication at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards in March 2023, donning a stunning floral Versace dress that boasted a scoop neckline, thigh-high slit, ruffled skirt and the iconic Versace logo. The Life Sentence actress accessorized the look with bold fuchsia eyeshadow, a sleek choker necklace and sky-high black platform heels.

Hale's big break on television came in 2006 during season three of The O.C. where she played the role of Hadley Hawthorne, a student in boarding school. In 2010, she landed the role of Aria Montgomery in the mystery show Pretty Little Liars, portraying an artistic teenager determined to uncover the truth about her missing friend. The show ran for an impressive seven seasons before ending in 2017. Since then, the Hating Game actress has appeared in various TV shows and movies, including Fantasy Island, Truth or Dare, and A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song. Despite her success in Hollywood, Hale remains grounded and describes herself as a casual dresser who prefers comfortable outfits such as jeans, tee shirts, sneakers and a leather jacket.
