Florence Pugh unveiled a major hair transformation at the Valentino show during Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris on Wednesday, July 5.
The presentation took place at Chateau de Chantilly, where the 27-year-old actress showcased her bold pink buzz cut. The spiked hairstyle and vibrant color beautifully contrasted with Pugh's whimsical periwinkle gown. The floor-length dress boasted a plunging neckline and sheer elements, offering a glimpse of the Don't Worry Darling star's chest. Ruffles and a bow adorned the back, completing the look. Pugh accessorized the ensemble with elegant black sandals and delicate earrings.
Pugh revealed her newly chopped hair at the Met Gala on May 1, grabbing attention with a feathered headdress. When asked about the transformation, the British actress explained, "It was required for my role in the film We Live in Time, which I was excited to do ... and what better way to debut it than at the Met Gala."
Pugh's outfit made quite a statement that night as well, dazzling photographers in a white Valentino dress. The ensemble perfectly matched the theme of "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," featuring a dark bow at the center as a tribute to the late designer's fondness for the accessory. To complete the look, the Don't Worry Darling star adorned herself with stacks of diamond bracelets, pearl-drop earrings, and almond-shaped nails.

The Midsommar star made her debut as a Valentino ambassador at the Met Gala. She was officially announced as the brand's face on April 26 in an interview with The New York Times.
Valentino's creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, joined Pugh in the interview and shared why the fashion house believed she should represent them. Piccioli explained that he wanted to have a conversation with Pugh after she faced criticism for wearing a dress that revealed her nipples at the luxury label's Haute Couture fashion show in July 2022 - a look similar to the one she wore during the Met Gala.
"The statement perfectly encapsulated the concept I discussed months ago regarding the rejection of societal beauty standards. It emphasizes the importance of embracing one's individuality, diversity, and expressing oneself boldly," expressed Piccioli to the newspaper. "Florence simply sought acknowledgement for her choice, which aligns precisely with the message I convey through my collection."
