Festival of Legends Mini-Set: Hearthstone's Exciting Remix of Familiar Cards

Hearthstone announces Festival of Legends Mini-Set, bringing a fresh twist to the game with a remix of familiar card types and keywords Players can expect an exciting new batch of cards that will shake up the Hearthstone formula and keep them on their toes Get ready for the Auidiopocalypse!

Hearthstone has just revealed the Mini-Set for its Festival of Legends card expansion, which is set to shake up the game with new takes on familiar types and keywords. The Festival of Legends is currently taking place, but it seems to have angered the Grimtotem Tauren tribes in the Thousand Needles, who want to bring about the Audiopocalypse - the end of all music in Azeroth. To save the music, the Festival of Legends bands are working together in a way that may be familiar to some players.

The Mini-Set of 38 cards is reintroducing dual-class cards, which were first experimented with in the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan set and then further developed in Hearthstone's Scholomance Academy expansion. These innovative cards feature fresh class combinations, such as the Abyssal Bassist and Through Fel and Flames, two cards that combine the Warrior and Demon Hunter classes, and are included in the Mini-Set. As with previous expansions, these cards merge typical archetypes and keywords found in both classes, such as Weapons and Rush, which are present in both Warrior and Demon Hunter. Additionally, they combine the musical genres represented by each class in Festival of Legends.

The Audiopocalypse is also introducing Remixed cards to Hearthstone. These cards, like the Harmonic spells from Festival of Legends, alter each turn they are in a player’s hand. However, unlike the Harmonic spells, Remixed cards can have several different forms. For example, the Remixed Tuning Fork Warrior weapon has four different versions, each of which has a unique Battlecry effect.

Players can look forward to the unveiling of the remaining cards in the Festival of Legends Mini-Set in the week leading up to its launch on May 31. Similar to previous Hearthstone Mini-Sets, fans can acquire the complete 72-card set for $15 or 2,000 Gold, or the Golden version for $70 or 10,000 Gold. These cards will also be added to the pool of cards that can be obtained from Festival of Legends packs.

But that's not all. Hearthstone is teaming up with Diablo 4 to celebrate the upcoming launch of the action RPG. From June 5 to 7, Diablo will return as a playable hero in Hearthstone Battlegrounds, and the Dark Wanderer Tavern Brawl will make its comeback for the first time since 2017. During the event's two-week run starting on June 7, players can participate in an epic Diablo 4-themed boss battle to earn a unique card back. Progression will be saved between weeks, giving players ample time to attempt to reach the Secret Cow Level.

Hearthstone is available now for Mobile and PC.
