Ryan Seacrest experienced a bathroom mishap while visiting Kris Jenner's house, resulting in a clogged toilet. During an episode of the "Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa" podcast on October 11, Seacrest, who is 48 years old, shared the incident where he hurriedly used the restroom, only to discover that the toilet paper had been wrongly placed, causing the water level to rise and ultimately leading to the clog.
Seacrest described how the water reached the level of the seat but did not overflow. He felt panicked at first, but then the water started to settle down. After the incident, he promptly left the bathroom. He originally shared this story during his hosting of Live with Kelly and Ryan in 2019, but Kelly Ripa specifically asked him to retell it with the same enthusiasm for her podcast audience.
Seacrest omitted important information while recounting the incident, prompting Ripa, aged 53, to urge him to clarify that he intended to "retrieve" what had been flushed down the toilet.
In a humorous tone, Seacrest clarified that he utilized a "toilet ring cleaner" instead of a "ladle" to unclog the toilet.
"It was a convenient tool, definitely not a ladle," he clarified. "Do you really think I go around with my Swiss army knife carrying a ladle? It was actually the toilet ring cleaner!"
Ripa tried to reassure Seacrest, acknowledging that "everyone has experienced moments like that" — though perhaps not in Jenner's house.
Seacrest initially recounted the incident in 2019, divulging his dilemma when confronted with an overflowing toilet.
"Mulling over my options," Seacrest quipped, "I pondered whether to plunge my hand into the situation. Should I discreetly seek assistance from Khloé [Kardashian] without involving Kim [Kardashian] and Kourtney [Kardashian]? Alternatively, should I straightforwardly notify Kris about the issue with her toilet?"
Jenner has remained silent on the incident, but her daughter Kim, aged 42, responded to the amusing narrative.
"I'm actually familiar with this," Kim shared during her appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan in 2019. Seacrest added that the blocked toilet mishap took place at Kendall Jenner's graduation celebration, when the entire family was present.
Kim clarified that Seacrest is not the first guest to have a problem with the bathroom. She explained that the bathroom is completely black, with black walls, black marble floors, a black toilet, black toilet paper, and an antiqued mirror.
Due to the lack of light in the room, Kim's mother cleverly displayed instructions on how to flush the toilet by "framing" them on the sink. Kim recalled her mother's words, "Instructions on How to Flush the Toilet: 1. Place your hand on the left side of the toilet, move downwards, and locate a circular button." Kim further added, "Interestingly, if the toilet got clogged, the darkness in the room was so intense that unless there was an unpleasant odor, no one would ever be able to tell."
