2017 saw former WWE wrestler Nikki Bella paired with Artem Chigvintsev, with the two beginning to date in 2019. Bella spoke of her admiration for Chigvintsev in October 2019, expressing her gratitude for his unwavering support and acceptance of her imperfections.
The connection between pro dancer Kym Johnson and Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec during their partnership in 2015 also led to a lasting romantic relationship, as they confirmed their status as a couple after initially feeling sparks between them.

'Dancing With the Stars' Pros and Celebs Who Found Love on the Show — and Are Still Together
Since its 2004 debut, Dancing With the Stars has awarded many mirrorball trophies — and has led to engagements, babies and lasting love.
The bond between pros and their colleagues often grows into love after spending time filming, rehearsing, and performing on the DWTS tour. Although less common, there are instances where a celebrity develops feelings for their pro partner.
For example, in 2017, ex-WWE wrestler Nikki Bella was paired with Artem Chigvintsev. Their professional relationship evolved into a romantic one, and they began dating in 2019. Bella shared with Us in October 2019, "I have never met anyone who’s so supportive and I have no fear that he’s ever going to leave me for my imperfections, which is so amazing."
Bella and Chigvintsev are not the only professional celebrity couple to have found enduring love. Pro dancer Kym Johnson was paired with Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec in 2015. The two initially had chemistry and later confirmed that they were in a relationship.
"From the moment I met [Kym], we got along great. This is a very scary experience for me, and it’s great to have somebody like Kym to go through it with," he shared with Us at the time. Their initial chemistry developed into a full-fledged relationship as they got married and had twins after the show concluded.

The couple kicked off their love story on Instagram on Valentine's Day 2023. The actor from CODA and the choreographer crossed paths while vying for the mirrorball trophy. Their season, which debuted in September 2022, saw them finish in fifth place.

Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella
Two years after being paired together in season 25 of 2017, Bella and Chigvintsev confirmed that they were dating. In January 2020, the couple announced their engagement. Seven months later, they welcomed their first son, Matteo. The Total Bellas star revealed in August 2022 that the lovebirds had exchanged vows in Paris.

Kym Johnson and Robert Kerjavec
DWTS pro Johnson was paired with the businessman for the 20th season of the show in 2015. Their engagement was announced in February 2016, and the couple tied the knot in July 2016. In April 2018, Johnson and Herjavec welcomed twins, Hudson and Haven.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd
Maksim, also known as the "bad boy of the ballroom," started dating DWTS pro Murgatroyd in 2012 despite having an on-off relationship. He proposed in December 2015 and they welcomed their son Shai Aleksander in January 2017. The dancers got married seven months later. In January 2023, Murgatroyd revealed that she is pregnant with their second child after experiencing multiple miscarriages.

Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov
Pashkov and Karagach became part of Dancing With the Stars in 2019 for season 28, but their history goes back even further. They were initially paired up as competitive dance partners in 2009, when she was 15 and he was 23. The couple eventually tied the knot in 2014.
Us confirmed in November 2022 that the pair are expecting their first child together.

Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson
