New information has emerged from a Genshin Impact leak regarding the limited weapons that will be available in the latter part of version 3.8. In each game update, there are two distinct banner cycles that showcase various types of limited characters and weapons for a period of 3-4 weeks.
Currently, the Limited Character Banner showcases two highly sought-after characters: the much-anticipated Cryo claymore wielder, Eula, and the Pyro catalyst user, Klee. Players of Genshin Impact who are interested in obtaining either of these characters or their signature weapons have a limited amount of time remaining, as the banner is set to expire on July 25.
As the game's character roster continues to expand, each new update introduces two limited five-star characters. These characters often come paired with a unique five-star weapon that complements their strengths and playstyle. The developer, HoYoverse, has a consistent pattern of featuring these characters and their signature weapons in the same banner cycle. For instance, the current weapon banner includes the claymore Song of Broken Pines and the catalyst The Dodoco Tales, which are specifically designed for Eula and Klee. A recent post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has unveiled information about weapons that will be introduced in the second half of version 3.8. According to the leak, phase 2 of Genshin Impact version 3.8 will introduce the following weapons:
- Tulaytullah's Remembrance: a five-star catalyst.
Everlasting Moonglow - five-star catalyst
Favonius Warbow - four-star bow
The Bell - four-star claymore
Dragon's Bane - four-star polearm
Wine and Song - four-star catalyst
Lion's Roar - four-star sword
Tulaytullah's Remembrance is a top-tier catalyst introduced specifically for Wanderer, the renowned Anemo user. The upcoming Phase 2 of update 3.8 will bring back Wanderer's banner, making this five-star catalyst an excellent addition for players. With its unique abilities, Wanderer is known for having a highly distinctive playstyle that sets them apart from other characters in the game. However, this versatile weapon can also be wielded by any catalyst user in the game, particularly those who rely heavily on Normal and Charged Attacks in their combat strategy.
The playstyle of Sangonomiya Kokomi, a popular Hydro user, aligns perfectly with the Everlasting Moonglow, a five-star catalyst. With the introduction of Dendro elemental reactions, Kokomi's role in Genshin Impact's character meta has been completely transformed, making her a highly sought-after Hydro character.
Although the two S-tier five-star catalysts are highly regarded, many fans are disappointed with the four-star lineup, which consists of generic weapons that have been in the game for a significant period of time. Genshin Impact players have been urging HoYoverse to revamp the drop mechanics for four-star items over the past few months.
Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version also in development.
