The Local Legends of Fontaine were introduced as a group of powerful enemies scattered throughout the region's overworld. These enhanced versions of Fontaine's newly introduced creatures possess substantial health bars and unleash potent attacks, posing a challenge even for seasoned Genshin Impact players. Players will also be rewarded with achievements upon defeating adversaries such as Ninianne of the Lake and the Iron Viscount. With the expansion of Fontaine in Version 4.1, even more Local Legends are set to make their debut.
A new leak, posted on the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit, has divulged the names of five new Local Legend adversaries making their debut in the upcoming update of Genshin Impact. Although most of them lack accompanying visuals, adversaries such as "Lucola the Brilliant," "Isolt," and the "Automated Supercomputing Field Generator" are purportedly set to grace the Version 4.1 update. Additionally, the update solidifies the arrival of the previously hinted Seneschal of Frost as a Local Legend, along with the likelihood of encountering the "Cherubic Sea Hare" as an underwater boss.
Genshin Impact Version 4.1 will feature new Local Legends and enemies, including the Seneschal of Frost and the Seneschal of Wind. Additionally, a new World Boss will be introduced in the Fontaine region. The update is scheduled to launch on September 27.
Aside from new enemies, Genshin Impact Version 4.1 will also bring new characters and events. Neuvillette and Wriothesley, both five-star units, will join the playable character roster. Moreover, Fontaine's Fortress of Meropide will be added as a new area, along with an underground area near the Opera Epiclese.
