A leaked video has revealed that Genshin Impact's Version 4.1 update will introduce a new area for players to explore, expanding on the existing map of Fontaine. This update follows the major expansion in Version 4.0, which added the fifth playable region of Fontaine, including the Court of Fontaine and underwater locations. Version 4.1 is rumored to be launching in September and will reportedly include the Fortress of Meropide, a prison within Fontaine that houses dangerous criminals. Furthermore, Fontaine's Opera Epiclese, the main theater and courthouse, will also receive its own expansion in Version 4.1.

In this video, leaker Himo_sino showcases a large platform behind the Opera Epiclese. This platform allows players to descend into an underground area where they will encounter several NPCs. The underground area acts as a connecting tunnel between the theater and the upcoming Fortress of Meropide. The highly anticipated Version 4.1 update of Genshin Impact is scheduled to launch on September 27.
