The Spiral Abyss in the upcoming Version 4.2 update of Genshin Impact will introduce a lineup of enemies. Spiral Abyss has been a significant endgame feature since the game's launch in September 2020, allowing players to face challenging versions of the game's enemies. With each update, new enemies are introduced, adding fresh teambuilding challenges for players. The upcoming update will feature a new rotation of enemies on Floor 12, as leaked information suggests.

A recent leak by renowned Genshin Impact leaker Bebe has uncovered the range of adversaries that players will face in Spiral Abyss of Version 4.2. The initial half of Floor 12-1 in the latest update of Spiral Abyss will confront players with a diverse set of elemental enemies, including Rifthounds and Abyss Mages, whereas the second half will feature the Matrix boss from Sumeru. In the first half of Floor 12-2, players will encounter a number of Fontaine's new Meka enemies, while the second half will test their abilities against Sumeru's Jadeplume Terrorshroom. Chamber 3 of Floor 12 concludes with a battle against the Emperor of Fire and Iron world boss in the first half, followed by the confrontation with the Nemesis of Coppelia in the second half.

Genshin Impact's Version 4.2, the latest update, is set to introduce new endgame content. However, it is worth noting that this content will not include any new enemies. Instead, players can expect the addition of two new bosses, including a world boss and Fontaine's first weekly boss. Leaks have also indicated that the expansion to Fontaine will bring more overworld enemies to the region. The release date for Version 4.2 is expected to be November 8th.

The upcoming rotation of the Spiral Abyss will likely be designed to complement the two new characters being introduced in Version 4.2. One of these characters, Furina, has been officially revealed as a five-star unit with unique mechanics revolving around manipulating HP, both her own and her allies'.
