In the first banner cycle of the upcoming version 3.8, Genshin Impact has officially revealed the four-star characters that will be featured. The official Special Program live stream event for this update has already confirmed that the first part of the update will showcase two popular five-star characters, Eula and Klee.
Furthermore, the event has confirmed that there will be no new character introductions in Genshin Impact 3.8, and instead, it will focus on four re-runs. Eula, in particular, has been highly anticipated by the Genshin Impact community, as her last banner appearance dates back to update 2.3 in November 2021.
With the constantly expanding pool of playable characters, each new update now includes two double banners, resulting in a total of four limited characters available in each new version of the game. Each double banner showcases a lineup of four-star characters, consisting of three playable units that are generally weaker and easier to obtain due to a lower pity rate. The official announcement on Genshin Impact's Twitter has finally unveiled the four-star characters who will be joining Eula and Klee in the first part of update 3.8. According to the post, the first banner cycle of Genshin Impact update 3.8 will showcase the following characters:
- Eula: a five-star Cryo claymore user
Klee - five-star Pyro catalyst user
Razor - four-star Electro claymore user
Thoma - four-star Pyro polearm user
Mika - four-star Cryo polearm user
Fans argue that the banner will showcase an impressive lineup of four-star characters. Razor, an Electro user, is a highly effective A-tier DPS unit with a playstyle resembling that of the five-star Sumeru character, Cyno. Both characters utilize their Elemental Burst to enhance their attacks and abilities, infusing them with powerful Electro damage.
Despite not holding the prestigious S-tier status in Genshin Impact lately, Razor remains a valuable addition to team compositions that require a potent Electro DPS. Thoma, a capable four-star support, excels at shielding teammates and reducing enemies' resistance. His exceptional Pyro application makes him an invaluable asset for teams that heavily rely on this element.
The four-star Cryo user, Mika, is not only a formidable force in combat but also an invaluable support with exceptional healing abilities, ensuring the endurance of all his teammates. Aspiring adventurers eager to acquire any of these remarkable characters will need to exercise patience as the official live stream event unveiled that Genshin Impact version 3.8 will be released on July 5th. Currently, Genshin Impact is accessible on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with an upcoming release on the Nintendo Switch.
