Heather Dubrow attempted to reach out to her friend and Real Housewives of Orange County colleague Shannon Beador, who was recently arrested for driving under the influence. However, she has not received a response. During an episode of the "Viall Files" podcast on Thursday, October 12, Dubrow, who is 54 years old, revealed that nobody joined the group chat regarding the incident. She also mentioned that there were likely private conversations happening. Dubrow was informed about Beador's arrest when she woke up that morning and received an article about it. Initially, she doubted its truthfulness, but then she became concerned about Beador's well-being.
Dubrow later reached out to Tamra Judge, a close friend and costar from RHOC, to confirm if the news was accurate. Feeling guilty, Dubrow shared an article with Tamra, who promptly called to discuss it. After their conversation, Dubrow messaged Shannon and asked if she was okay. Shannon's response seemed to be a generic text sent to multiple people, requesting them to refrain from discussing the matter.
She continued: “I wrote [Shannon] back, ‘You know, I have no plans to talk about it. I just wanted to see if you needed anything,’ and I didn’t hear back.”
Last month, it was confirmed that Beador had been taken into custody for committing two misdemeanors on September 16, which were a hit-and-run incident and driving under the influence. The Newport Beach Police Department reported that Beador had driven her vehicle onto a residential property. She was then issued citations by the police and released without having to post bail.
Shannon Beador's lawyer, Michael Fell, stated that he spent a significant amount of time with Shannon yesterday and described her as extremely apologetic and remorseful. Fell added that they are awaiting official information on the case and Shannon is ready to take full responsibility for her actions. Beador has not addressed the incident any further and has not even spoken to Dubrow since their initial text exchange.
Dubrow informed podcast host Nick Viall that she reached out to Beador via text, clarifying that there was no animosity between them. She mentioned that Beador responded with a standard reply, which she had sent to everyone following the DUI incident. Dubrow then sent another message expressing her concern, but did not receive any response.
Additionally, Dubrow emphasized that if Beador required her support, she would be there for her. She expressed her desire for Beador to find happiness and acknowledged that her friend always offers valuable guidance on parenting and maintaining friendships.
