Weapons play a crucial role in Genshin Impact, determining the performance of characters. To enhance their weapons, Travelers must Ascend them, which necessitates obtaining drops from Elite Enemies. Genshin Impact offers various Elite Enemies such as Ruin Guard, Ruin Grader, Ruin Sentinels, Ruin Drake, and more. For players seeking Ruin Drake locations and farming routes in Genshin Impact, this guide can be referenced.
Ruin Drake Locations In Genshin Impact
Ruin Drakes can only be encountered after Sumeru becomes accessible, making them unavailable in regions such as Inazuma, Liyue, and Mondstadt. As a result, the number of these adversaries present on the map is rather limited.
Dharma Forest
Seven Ruin Drakes are wandering around the northern part of Sumeru’s Dharma Forest. All of them are above ground, so players should be able to spot them easily.
After defeating the first wave of Ruin Drakes, head to the southern area to find a few more of the Automatons around Devantaka Mountain and the Ruins of Dahri.
Underground Ruin Drake
Out of all the Ruin Drakes available, there are four that can be found underground. To locate the one situated north of Pardis Dhyai, players are required to successfully complete the Legend of the Stone Lock quest and drain the water from the cave. Achieving this task entails destroying all Stone Pillar Seals in Genshin Impact. Nonetheless, considering that there is only one robot present in this area, it may not be worthwhile to undertake the quest solely for the sake of facing an extra enemy.
In the Ruins of Dahri, players can find the Ruin Drakes by entering the underground entrance in the middle of the location (marked with X). Proceed further into the area until reaching the Grove of Dreams, where three Ruin Drakes can be encountered.
To find the first robot, glide downwards until a cluster of Crystal Chunks can be spotted. Defeat this enemy to summon a second robot. Afterwards, head southeast to encounter another Ruin Drake alongside two Genshin Impact Ruin Sentinels.
Land of Upper Setekh
After venturing underground, go to the desert where plenty of Ruin Drakes are wandering the edge of the map.
Land of Lower Setekh
Around the Lower Setekh, a few more Ruin Drakes are available.
Desert of Hadramaveth
Gavireh Lajavard
In the Desert of Hadramaveth, it is possible to farm six Ruin Drakes. Players who have completed the main quest with Jeht in Genshin Impact may have the opportunity to encounter an additional Automaton south of the Wounded Shin Valley. This particular Automaton can be found in the vicinity of where the colossal Ruin Guard crashed down.
Finally, people can travel to the Gavireh Lajavard for five more Ruin Drakes farming.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
