Fans are speculating that another skin may be released for the four-star character, Amber, as she is currently the only starter character without one. A recent leak is hinting at one of the upcoming Genshin Impact characters receiving an in-game skin, particularly one of the game's Archons. While new releases in the highly popular HoYoverse RPG typically focus on introducing new characters, the developer has also included multiple sets of skins for beloved characters. Characters like Kamisato Ayaka, Keqing, and Ningguang, who are fan-favorites, have already received their own fashion-forward skins throughout the game. Now, fans are being teased with an early glimpse of the upcoming skins for the RPG.

Among the playable characters in Genshin Impact, the regional Archons have always been fan favorites. These elemental deities are powerful and often serve as crucial members of players' teams. Raiden Shogun, for example, is widely regarded as one of the best DPS characters, while Zhongli is known for being one of the strongest supports. Even the most recent addition, Nahida from Sumeru, has become a key part of many teams focused on Dendro characters. Excitingly, one of these beloved and powerful characters will be getting their own skin.

Prominent Genshin Impact leaker Tao recently shared an update revealing that a skin is currently in development for Zhongli, Liyue's Geo Archon. Although no concept art was provided in the post, Tao confirmed that the skin is now in the planning stages after being heavily rumored previously. While no release date was mentioned in the update, if Genshin Impact follows its previous trends, the skin may be introduced around Version 4.4. This marks the first time an Archon in Genshin Impact will have a skin available for purchase.

After his release, Zhongli quickly became one of the game's strongest supports, despite being initially criticized for being underpowered. Through subsequent balance adjustments, he emerged as a dominant force in the meta. Besides his prowess in battle, players have grown fond of Zhongli for his detached personality, as showcased in Liyue's story and various events within the region. With previous cinematics teasing a potential skin, fans eagerly anticipate Zhongli's expected regal appearance.

In addition to a new skin for Zhongli, there may also be another skin released for one of Genshin Impact's four-star characters. However, this has not been confirmed yet. Some fans are speculating that the starter character Amber might be the next to get a skin, which would make her the only starter character without one after Version 3.8. Both Kaeya and Lisa, two other four-star starter characters, are set to receive skins during Genshin Impact's Sumeru cycle. A potential skin for Zhongli would likely be highly sought after, as he has a large and devoted fanbase as the Geo Archon.
