Exclusive Genshin Impact Leak Unveils Game-Changing Weapon Banner in 40 Second Half

A recent leak from Genshin Impact provides a sneak peek into the lineup of weapons that will be available on the limited gacha banner in the second half of Version 4.0. Typically, the focus of new updates in the HoYoverse RPG is on introducing new characters. However, each rotation of limited characters also brings updates to the game's weapon banner. This weapon gacha banner is known for featuring some of the most powerful weapons in Genshin Impact, such as the Mistsplitter Reforged and Amos' Bow, which are tailored to the featured five-star characters. In Version 4.0, two popular weapons are expected to make a comeback in the rotation.

When Genshin Impact receives updates, it usually includes the addition of at least one new weapon that complements the game's latest characters. Signature weapons are carefully designed to match a character's unique playstyle, offering powerful effects that enhance the abilities of Genshin Impact's characters. The latest addition is a five-star weapon named The First Great Magic, which provides distinct bonuses to Charged Attacks and boosts damage or movement speed based on the composition of the party. This weapon is specifically designed for Genshin Impact's newest five-star unit, Lyney. Now, leaks are hinting at the weapons that will be featured in the second half of Version 4.0.

A new post by prominent Genshin Impact leaker hxg_diluc via Full Stop Chan has unveiled the upcoming lineup of weapons in Version 4.0's second half. The limited five-star weapons for this banner will be the Polar Star and the Vortex Vanquisher, which are the signature weapons for Tartaglia and Zhongli, the featured characters. Additionally, the lineup of four-star weapons will include popular choices such as the Rust bow and the Widsith catalyst, among others. The second half of Version 4.0 is set to commence on September 6th.

Version 4.0's expansion of the weapon selection is just the beginning, as Version 4.1 is set to introduce even more weapons. This upcoming update will feature two new characters, Neuvillette and Wriothesley, with their own unique signature weapons added to the game. Leaks have hinted that the flagship event in Version 4.1 will provide an exclusive four-star weapon as a reward for completion.
