A new leak from Genshin Impact reveals the appearance of the upcoming five-star character Neuvillette with various Gliders. Neuvillette is one of the two confirmed playable units for version 4.1, alongside Wriothesley, the game's first Cryo catalyst user.
Gliding is a unique ability that allows Travelers to gracefully navigate the skies. To activate this functionality, simply press the jump button while airborne. Currently, Genshin Impact offers a range of gliders that only enhance the aesthetic appeal and do not provide any extra stats.
A leak from Twitter user Teyvattabloid2 has revealed the appearance of the upcoming Hydro catalyst user Neuvillette when equipped with various Gliders. Fans believe that the Wings of Merciful, which were introduced in Genshin Impact version 4.0, best complement Neuvillette's design. To obtain this Wind Glider, players must reach Reputation Level 10 in the newly added Fontaine region. Reputation XP can be earned by completing requests, bounties, quests, or exploring the world of Teyvat. Along with Gliders, Reputation rewards can also include Food Recipes, Namecards, Forging Blueprints, and other useful items.
Neuvillette, one of the mightiest figures in the Fontaine region, showcased his immense power by effortlessly besting Childe, an infamous member of the Fatui Harbingers. Speculation even suggests that he surpasses the strength of the Fontaine Archon herself, a rarity considering Archons usually reign as the most formidable beings in their respective realms.
In terms of his prowess on the battlefield, leaked information has unveiled Neuvillette's unique Charged Attack, which can be amplified by prolonging the charging time. This grants him the ability to unleash a devastating Hydro beam attack, inflicting widespread damage; however, employing this technique does drain Neuvillette's health. Fortunately, this drawback is limited to 50%, likely negligible as most Hydro characters possess substantial HP.
Without confirmation from HoYoverse about his party role, Travelers speculate that he will likely serve as the primary DPS character in Genshin Impact team compositions. To learn more about this Hydro user, players will have to wait for a week or two until HoYoverse hosts the live stream event for Genshin Impact version 4.1. Genshin Impact is currently accessible on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Switch version currently in progress.
